Big Bear Lake vacation rentals

Great communication with property owner. Place is very cute and cozy and great neighborhood. Close to the village and great sledding areas. Would definitely stay here again. Only “issue” is no trash on site so have to drive 10 minutes to dump trash at dumpsters sites.

Steph was super kind and communicative throughout the process and during our stay. Really appreciated the quick response to any inquiries we had as we planned our first family trip with our dog, especially information on stuff happening around town so we knew what crowds to expect. Very helpful. Cabin was lovely with a surprise in every room! PS4 in the living room, snacks for both people and canines in the cupboard above the fridge, and a well furnished bathroom with items that could easily been forgotten like extra ponytails, face wash, and specific towels for our four legged friends. Cabin is within 10 minutes from the lake, main downtown area, and multiple trails. Loved how accessible it was to everything but far enough away from the crowds. Had a great time during our first trip and wish we booked a few additional nights. We’ll definitely be back again in the future and will recommend this place to everyone. Lets start with the amenity that saved the day! About 9:20pm on Friday night the power went out in Big Bear. The power was until 12pm the following day! But Moonridge Echo Camp has a backup power generator. We walked to Dank Donuts in the morning to see if they were open with the power out. Power out, but selling donuts and accepting cards. The locals were talking about the power outage like it's a common occurrence during the summer. We might have bailed earlier on the weekend if it weren't for the back up power generator. Lets talk location. The neighborhood feels off the tourist path despite so many nearby rentals, but we didn't didn't drive anywhere. We walked the mile to Snow Summit. From Snow Summit, we used the free red line trolley to get to the village and home again. It wasn't a very busy weekend and the trolley was nearly empty when we rode on it. Back to the cabin amenities. The Star Wars, wookie vacation home theme is a really fun touch. Everything was very clearly labeled. We used everything except for the stove. We enjoyed the hot tub right around sunset every night. The grill and the fire pit table are both hooked up directly to a gas line. We grilled the second day and stay up until 10pm at the fire pit table on the third day. We've been at vacation rentals with these amenities before, but this is the first time we've had a great experience with each amenity. Nothing dirty, nothing broken, and zero hassle! We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I were looking for a place for a long weekend getaway in Big Bear and this cabin is everything we're looking for. Well equipped kitchen with pretty much everything you'll need for cooking, comfy and spacious bedroom with telescope for stargazing (shame we didn't get a chance to actually use it!), and overall just very clean and organized place in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive, definitely will come back again!

It was so peaceful and felt like home. We enjoyed Oktoberfest boating on the lake and zip lining. I would definitely come back thanks again. !

Wow - this cottage was even better than we imagined! Every detail felt so thoughtfully curated, from the pancake mix and bird seed to the extra cozy throw blankets. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and in pristine condition - pure comfort and charm. Our favorite spot was the dreamy deck with its peek-a-boo view of Big Bear Lake, where we felt like we were perched among the trees. At night, we were serenaded by owls and the gentle rustling of fall leaves under a sky full of stars. Absolutely heavenly. We can’t wait to come back!

Location couldn't be better, 30 second walk and you're on a run thats 20 seconds from the express lift that takes you to the top of big bear. Backyard has great view of a big jump, so just hanging out and watching people is pretty fun. From the mountain you can be at the private hot tub within 1 minute (not counting de-gearing). Heat works well for the unit too! Jillian was incredibly responsive and helpful, and she was super honest and upfront about the rules/hassles involved. (Tons of rules, lots from HOA/bigbear, this would have been a stressful place to rent if we wanted to party, but for a low key chill trip it was great). Up to 7 people can stay, but really 2 people would have rough sleep (top bunk mattresses thin, can feel railing in your back), and if you want to relax and watch movies together more than 5 people wouldn't be very comfortable given the couch setup in the living room (3 seater and 2 seater couches)
