I'm blocking dates on VRBO but they do not show on Houfy?

1. On VRBO, copy the property's calendar export URL. VRBO moves these screens, so use their current path - Houfy also shows it as a reminder inside the Import window: Property, Calendar, Import/Export, Export.

2. On Houfy, go to Manage Listings, open the listing and click Calendar.

3. Click Import in the calendar toolbar.

4. Paste the address into iCal URL and give it a name such as "Vrbo" so you can recognise it later - left blank it is saved as Imported Calendar.

5. Under Import options choose Everything. This is the setting that matters here: Only Reservations brings in an event solely when its title contains the words Reserved, Booked or Confirmed, so your VRBO blocked dates would be thrown away and those nights would stay open on Houfy. Choose Everything whenever you want blocks to come across.

6. Save. Houfy refreshes the feed on a schedule; to pull it in immediately, use Sync now on that calendar's row.

If you have already added VRBO and its blocks are missing, open the same window, click the pencil on the VRBO row and check Import options there. Switching it to Everything and pressing Sync now is the fix.
