How to remove a connected domain from the website?

1. Go to houfy.com/new/website-classic and click Manage on the website you want to edit.

2. Click Domains in the left menu, then click the trash icon next to the domain you want to remove.

3. Click Confirm in the dialog that appears.

To detach the domain completely, also remove the DNS records at your domain provider. If you connected a full domain such as example.com there are two to remove - the A record on @ and the CNAME on www. If you connected a subdomain such as stay.example.com there is only the A record.

Leaving the www CNAME in place will keep sending visitors to Houfy even after the domain is removed here.
