(Input from owner via copied email review from Dennis) Good afternoon Paul. Got back from Charlotte yesterday and appreciate the call. Top drawer and exceptional cleanliness at your cabin. Cannot say how nice our stay and trip was to enjoy the family wedding and proximity to the venue where held, at Chestnut Farm. Had gathering at The Appalachian which was nice and good food for everyone to enjoy! Would like to mention that Houfy has not corrected the prior issues we encountered and was a bit frustrating. All correspondence received was by you personally and was grateful for that. Otherwise, you would have heard from me direct as any of the links they sent were unable to open and the same old “not authorized to enter site” from screen shot I sent earlier. I will definitely not be using them in the future and would encourage others to do the same for they have not reached out to me to try and absolve the issues as of today. The route of I-40 North from just outside Asheville is a huge mess due to construction and we redirected ourselves around through some of it, but many in our wedding party from Georgia and Florida were hammered by hour and half delays in stop and go traffic on Thursday & Friday. We made our way back from your cabin via Gatlinburg and Maggie Valley which added another thirty minutes return but escaped the parking lot traffic South on I-40 that we witnessed on the way up! May want to advise future guest in that regard. Would have enjoyed one of your former C-130’s or C-141’s to drop me in with a tandem jump……. beautiful weather and scenery! I came here to visit my daughter and wanted the best of both worlds, which this stay was exactly that. This cabin was a beautiful hideaway nestled in the mountain. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! The location was the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Peaceful, yet close to all the fun attractions, restaurants, and shopping you could want. What truly stood out, though, was the host. They went above and beyond in every way, making sure I felt completely comfortable and taken care of, especially since I was traveling from out of state and dealing with some anxiety due to the weather. Their communication was exceptional, always responsive, kind, and reassuring. After I checked out, not realizing I had accidentally left something important at the cabin, the host reached out to me right away to make arrangements to return it. That kind of care and thoughtfulness just cements how great Bill and Heather are. This is an absolute must stay, 10/10! Thank you so much!

Our family of four had an amazing week at Hummingbird Hideaway! I would recommend this place over and over to anyone traveling to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area! When you arrive you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere…peaceful and very private. That being said, the cabin is very convenient to the area’s activities! The cabin is well stocked with everything needed for a delightful stay! Lots of games, video arcade, and hot tub were the amenities most enjoyed by our family! Beds were super comfortable and there were extra blankets and pillows so everyone was super comfortable! Kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, a blender, ice machine, cleaning supplies, cooking staples, and a coffee/tea/cocoa bar to make everyone happy! If you have read my review and the cabin is available…BOOK IT!!! It’s the best!

This stay was absolutely perfect. I really value having backups for anything I might forget, and this house had it all — from kitchen tools and extra towels to batteries, Q-tips, and full bathroom kits with toothbrushes, razors, cotton pads, feminine care items, and more. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, which gave me total peace of mind. The home was spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. The integrated AC/heating system was powerful and kept the whole house at the perfect temperature, the washer/dryer were high quality, and the hot tub was a great size for relaxing. For fun, there were cards, a Super Nintendo, and a huge Roku TV. Outside, we enjoyed the grill, fire pit, hammock, large fridge, two bathrooms, and a huge shaded balcony surrounded by trees. It truly felt like heaven — comfortable, fun, and prepared in every way. Highly recommended! If you forget something for personal care, they have it. If you need an appliance in the kitchen, they have it. You name it.

Wow! Everything about this cabin, its location, and amenities is amazing! Let’s talk about the views – absolutely breathtaking. Pictures don’t do it justice. Perched at the top of the mountain range, you can see for miles. The three decks, with plenty of seating on each level, provide the perfect atmosphere to catch both the sunrise and sunset.The amenities – the pool, hot tub, game room, and theater room – were a huge hit! The parents really appreciated that the pool room had a locked keypad door for added security. Plus, it was great that these amenities were located on the bottom floor, away from the bedrooms. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of seating, dishes, pots, pans – everything we needed, they had.Hanna & Ken were always quick to respond before and during our stay. On our first night, it was a little chilly (even for us Michiganders!). After texting Hanna, they quickly bumped up the heat remotely from their phones within minutes.This truly was a magical place to stay, and we hope to return in the near future!

This cabin is cozy, warm and a great place for any person/family to temporarily call home. This cabin is peaceful. We felt one with nature and received a well deserved vacation away from any distraction. It was a joy to hear crickets and smell a wood burning fire by the pit. I was never tempted to respond to any of my electronic devices. It was a relief. The entire home is modern and very comfortable. The deck was my favorite of all places. The lights and the swing was the best place my mom and I gathered nightly to enjoy the sounds of nature. Thank you to our host who gave us precise instructions and made this vacation a success. We will be back next year.

We definitely recommend staying at this cabin. Location was great with a gas station, dollar general, pizza restaurant, and country store all at the end of the road the resort is on. Cabin was very clean and well decorated. Lower level had pool that seemed larger than most available cabins in area. bathroom on lower level has bath tub, so it was easy for small children to come in from pool and bathe chlorine off without dripping water through the house or getting cold. Arcade on lower level have a good variety of games and air hockey. Every room in this place had huge smart TVs, so everyone could stream what they wanted no matter where they were. Upper level has great kid room with bunk beds, games, tent, bean bags to sit on, its own bathroom, and the largest TV I have ever seen in a home. Also upstairs is a bedroom with king bed and bathroom large enough for a couple to share. Provided pack and play, high chair, and kids dinnerware helped. Bring 2 - 3 baby gates for small children.

This trip included my daughter and her family with children ages 9, 8 and 4. After a long 7 hour drive, the pool was calling! It did not disappoint. They played and got all their energy out. The alarmed door provided a level of safety that gave parents assurance that all would be well. We knew that the description described the home as well appointed-that did not disappoint. The kitchen has pots and pans and spatulas and a grater, measuring spoons, knives- and, to my delight, a large crockpot! Plates and cups and glassware along with plastic plates and cups and bowls for kids-including matching plastic ware! There was dish soap and dish towels…so very helpful as we cooked dinner every night. It was helpful to have a generous supply off individual packets of salt and pepper and olive oil. The bathrooms included soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer…two large tables one inside and one outside seating 14 easily! I loved the view-that is a given- but this rental does not disappoint! Truly an amazing place-I hope to be back again! Thank you, Jade.
