A Home Away From Home with a Touch of Magic! My stay at the charming place was an absolute delight from start to finish! Cozy & clean haven, this place is a gem that truly felt like home. The space was impeccably clean, cozy & well-appointed with all the amenities one could wish for. From a fully equipped kitchen to every corner exuding warmth & comfort. The highlight...A stunning back garden patio adorned with string lights, this enchanting space was a haven for relaxation & unwinding. It was my go-to spot for morning chai. The convenience of a brand-new washer dryer was an absolute game-changer, allowing me to pack lighter & have a stress-free stay. The host's attention to detail was evident in every aspect. From seamless check-in to thoughtful touches that made me feel welcomed, they truly went above & beyond to ensure comfort. Nestled in a serene neighborhood it offered tranquility yet was conveniently close to all local attractions. Thanks for having me and I hope to return.

This the cutest little home! I stayed with my daughter & her husband. There is a full-sized bed in front bedroom & bunkbeds in the 2nd room. The bottom bunk is full-sized, sleeps 2 and, if needed, also converts into a sofa. The Casita is tastefully decorated. As long as you are not the type to "spread out", it's perfect for a cozy stay. There is a small kitchen: refrigerator, 2-burner stove, microwave, toaster - all you need for a light breakfast or reheat leftovers. With nice weather, enjoy your coffee on the patio. The beds are comfortable and the linens are to die for! You can just sink into the softness & relax. It is an extremely quiet neighborhood. (Be sure to set the alarm if you have an appointment in the morning!) The Casita is located close to the LB airport & within minutes to 405 or 710 freeways. It's in a lovely neighborhood. Grocery store is nearby, as is a CVS & Walgreen's. I have family in the area and this was a perfect home to be nearby but not underfoot. It's not a cookie-cutter hotel room: no elevator noise, no upstairs neighbor stomping on floor. Peaceful. That's a quality that cannot be said about many venues. The owner lives in the home in front & you'd never know he was home. (He's a stealth ninja!) Lars provided coffee, tea, creamer. He even bakes cookies! With all the craziness of family Thanksgiving, Casita Gundry was the best choice I could have made for a 3-day stay. I will definitely book another stay!

I had a great stay at this apartment! Check-in was super easy, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. The place was spotless when I arrived, really clean and well taken care of. The location was great, quiet and safe, with a lot of places within walking distance and just a short drive to Long Beach. It felt peaceful but still very convenient. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped. The king bed was super comfy, and the large TV was a nice bonus for relaxing at night. Appliances were all new and easy to use, the A/C and fans kept the space cool, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout my stay. A big plus was the private 1-car garage, which can fit up to a medium-size SUV. There’s also a washing and drying machine available in the building, which you can use via an app. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience. I’d happily stay again!

This airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The open-concept layout made it easy for everyone to gather and relax, while the spacious bedrooms provided plenty of privacy and comfort. The bathrooms were beautifully done - modern, spotless and stocked with all of the essentials. The cozy fireplace was a wonderful bonus, especially on the chilly mornings and later in the evening. The staircase was a little bit of a deterrent for smaller toddlers, but the home overall was safe for little ones to play and be part of the action. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were so cozy and smelled great! The location couldn't have been better - just one block from the beach and close to restaurants. The two-car garage was very handy. We also loved the front patio, which was perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks and a safe place for the kids to be outside. Lynn was very accessible always, very prompt to reply to any questions and check-in and out were super simple.

When you are planning to stay at a specific residence that is not your home for an extended period of time, it is very important that you choose a place that feels like home. A place that you feel comfortable in, can relax in and know your every day needs are met. Needs such as kitchen ware, needs such as toiletries, needs such as access to technology. and most importantly knowing if you do have questions or assistance, your host is willing to be there for you in anyway necessary. This is what I experienced during my stay, not to mention the beauty of the decor and actual peace in such a busy place as Pine Ave, Long Beach!! Plus you have a beautiful roof-top deck to experience morning sunrises and evening sunsets!!

This place is a gem. We booked this house the day of because of late airbnb cancellation. It was a stressful morning until I reached out to Candis who was super responsive. She made our stressful day a whole lot better. The location is centralized to a lot of areas. Including a target around the corner, a drive thru Starbucks, an in n out, Chick-fil-A.. which were all helpful on those days we were on the go. Candid also provides a list of local recommendations. The place felt homie, it was clean which was important to us traveling with a 10 month old. Also comes with a pack and play. The neighborhood was quiet/safe we found parking right in front of the place 95% of the time, the other 5% of the time we parked a house over or across the street. The check in process was seamless. Instructions were clear and unlike some other airbnbs, the place is stocked with plenty of toiletries, shampoo, and random things that you might forget (thankfully we didn’t need it but it was a plus.)
