The Bahamas vacation rentals

Stayed end of June 2016. I surprised my wife for her 40th and brought the kids. I will start with the island. I have been to Turks, Aruba, Mexico, Barbados and ST Johns to name a few this was the best water and beach ever. There is a coral reef 20 yards in front of the house we snorkled and swam with tropical fish and a sea turtle. On the island rent jet skis and saw star fish, sea turtles, nurse sharks and fed by hand sting rays. Oh' from jet ski's we also swam with the pigs. Once in a lifetime experience bring an under water camera. The house is super clean, fresh and modern. Everything we needed was provided. There are no other houses next to this for 100 yards very private and literally we saw no one on the beach for over a mile in each direction. Rent a car and visit the island worth it $. We ate out at local restaurants. Dee the owner was in constant contact and provided every bit of information to make me relax. I am in Law Enforcement and get nervous about scams as I have investigated many. If you are sending money from a small local bank in America you have to send it through Lords of London it's normal. I will allow Dee to give out my email address to anyone that worries about this and I will verify this is common with my credentials. This was a trip that for the money is a once in a decade trip for my family. It was full of great memories and totally worth every cent. I don't know if it was the kindness of Dee answering my many questions or following up with a phone call when we arrived or the condition of the home but it truly felt like we were sharing a friends house not just another rental. Thank you Dee and your family for sharing such a wonderful home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our say at Dream Space Cottage. When we go on vacation, we enjoy exploring the place, not staying in an all inclusive resort. This place is perfect for just that! We were able to use the car for our adventures, but then come back to the house to just hang out. We went on a fishing trip and we were able to bring the fish back and cook in the fully stocked kitchen. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away! David immediately responded to all of my before and during trip questions which included restaurant suggestions, fishing charter information, and photos of the nearby beach and backyard cabana. We LOVED that each room had their own bathrooms since we traveled with another couple and my preteen daughter. The cottage even has a few games and puzzles in case you need a break from the sun. The backyard is gorgeous! I honestly could have spent the entire time just in the backyard! In the evening, it is lit up nicely if you would prefer a night swim or barbecue! David and Tammy brought us some delicious pastries from their favorite bakery. Then, as we were heading out, Tammy had made us the most beautiful bracelets as a momento from staying our stay. This family went above and beyond any VRBOs I’ve stayed in EVER! From the beginning of the stay, David arranged a ride for us from the airport (nicest taxi driver ever) to the end … (they let us stash our luggage in the garage and use the car until we had to catch our flight) we were taken care of! I can’t say enough positive things about our stay, and I feel like I’m leaving some things out. I would highly recommend staying here if you like the freedom to leave your resort and explore!

Stayed in Villa house 4...which is the smaller of the five homes in this subdivision. Only two are completed and renting at present. Both ocean side homes were available for my selected dates, and I'm very happy I chose this residence. We loved how the kitchen was open to the living room and dining area vs the other floor plan where the kitchen is tucked away. It also has an outdoor shower area for rinsing off sand before entering the home. Wish is beyond helpful and necessary. I can't believe they don't have them in the other homes!? Fair warning....the pools are not heated. They are too cold to utilize unfortunately :( We also wished the property had an outdoor grille, and wished we knew how to use the indoor speaker system for music. Staff did not know how to use it. Having said that...this house has everything you need. Beautifully decorated. Staff was so nice. From CJ our boat captain...to the security guards at night. (Which we brought food to on occasion). We chartered a private fishing boat from Chubasco...which can pick you up right from the private dock of the subdivision. Walking to Atlantis is very convenient. You will receive people taking photos of the home from the beach. We asked one couple to leave the private waking path that entered through the private gate beach side. Otherwise no issues. Harbour side is nice and calm and not windy. There's a nice pavilion on the private dock...which would be a great area to dine at night if it had furniture. Would definitely rent again.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the beach is particularly beautiful - it was for us a welcome respite after 3 days at Atlantis, and we enjoyed walking along it in the mornings before other day trips, or for watching the gorgeous sunsets. I'd also add that the Moonflower team were incredibly helpful in my pre-planning stages (helping me choose tours, find car rentals, travel options, etc), and were also very responsive answering questions when we were there. The location was ideal for our first visit to Eleuthera, mid way between trips to Harbor Island (which we loved!) or Governor's Harbor. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, and our teenagers really loved having their own space. Definitely recommend :)

Definitely would come again, the villa in Treasure Cay is beautiful. The beach is wonderful. A very quiet, relaxing place. Nancy was so helpful, being our first time to Abaco she gave us peace of mind from the start. From how to arrive, to get around and any questions I had. The villa had everything you need and more. It was a home away from home! There is an on site person, Martha, she was so was friendly and very helpful. Look forward to coming back with family and friends! Thanks Nancy for a fantastic vacation!
