We stayed at this beautiful chalet for a week with young friends and their new baby. We thought it was perfect. The chalet is located above Zermatt with an unbelievable view of the Matterhorn. From the balconies we could hear the goats moving across the valley floor-a lovely tinkling of bells-and the chiming of church bells. The fact that cars are not permitted in Zermatt meant that the chalet felt as if we were in a very remote place. In fact a short walk downhill to the elevator opposite Cervo Hotel put us into Zermatt with only a short walk to restaurants and shopping and trains. The location was perfect and so was the house. We found it fully equipped (there was even a crib) and so much attention was given to the comfort of guests that the only thing we could find missing was a night light in the bathrooms. That was it! The beds were comfortable, the linens were nice, and the kitchen had everything. We only used the cedar hot tub a couple of times but wish we had used it more. We went off adventuring every day but came back to the chalet wondering why we had ever left. The view and the house were THAT good!! Tips for anyone lucky enough to come here: Be sure to stock up on groceries at the Coop across from the train station before hiring an electric taxi to carry you, luggage, food, and drink up to the chalet. Trips for small things are easily made using the elevator. Also be sure to stop at Cervo for a drink on the terrace. This is a fashionable place with a welcoming staff. Last tip: Be sure to not stop for a snack at Tufternalp in a meadow above the house though I do recommend reading the reviews on Trip Advisor for amusement. One reviewer said they stopped there is see if the staff were as bad as all that. The answer is yes! Go to Cervo instead or back to the chalet.

A little house but very comfy. The apartment is situated in a new building, and also the apartment in completely new. The furnitures also and the appliances are brand new. Also the bed is new and comfortable. The access is done by self check-inn really simple and well explained by the host. The apartment is at the beginning of a pedestrian area and a supermarket and other shops are 5 minutes walk. Easy access also to the public transportation (bus or train) and 20 minutes far from Lausanne city centre (also by car). There are some parking spot nearby but most of them have a fare to pay (free starting to 19 to 8am and festive days) on the other side of the street. The host is available for any information or suggestion you need and the most important thing by my side is that the apartment is absolutely really clean, especially the bathroom! Only one suggestion: a clothing line is needed to hang the clothes after washing. Many thanks for everything

We had a wonderful time at this cosy and comfortable chalet. It had all the amenities one would need in a home away from home. The views from every window of the snow covered peaks and the valley below were amazing at night and in the day. The location is close to the Tracouet telecabine so easy access to town and the slopes. Ros and Rob kept in regular touch with us and sent us information needed for our stay. The home was sparkling clean and thoughtfully set up. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Tolle charmante Wohnung, in der man sich sofort zu Hause fühlt. Willy's Geist ist noch spürbar und macht die Atmosphäre sehr freundlich und persönlich. Man merkt auch (und schätzten wir auch), dass es nicht eine professionelle unpersönliche Vermietung ist. Mehr als alles notwendige vorhanden, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche (gut, der eine oder andere Altkram könnte weg), bequeme Betten und Decken - alles ganz so wie ich es mir vorstelle, wenn ich selbst eine Wohnung in den Berge hätte. Absolute Empfehlung! Wir kommen gerne ein andermal wieder :)

We had the best time at Helena's flat. It's beautifully located in the middle of nature with incredible views. It is really charming, clean and has everything you need. It's exactly as described. Helena left us an amazing manual with lots of information about the flat and the surroundings, which made our stay super simple. she was friendly throughout the booking process and really helpful as we were arriving and while there. Check-in was super easy and smooth. Everything is exactly as described. We will def. try to come back soon! Thanks so much Helena!
