Portugal vacation rentals

My husband I just returned from a three day stay Ana's lovely apartment in Porto. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the cellars and main tourist attractions. Ana and her team also left us with several travel guidebooks, umbrellas for the rain, and answered any possible questions we could have. Her customer service was superb! The apartment itself was very well appointed. Besides being beautifully decorated, all of the essentials were there. There were plenty of supplies for cooking, a Nespresso machine, wine (for purchase if needed), bathroom supplies, and a washing machine (with detergent). There was also a lovely surprise welcome port sample to start our adventures on the right foot. The thing that stands out the most about this listing is the care and attention that Ana and her staff provided! It felt more like I was going to visit an old friend. Her communication was excellent. She quickly and promptly answered every question, made restaurant suggestions, and helped with reservations. She took care of setting up an amazing experience in the Duoro Valley. We had a very knowledgeable private driver. He happily answered all of our questions, about port, history, viticulture, and Portugal's people. Ana arranged a very charming (and delicious) private port tasting at a small Quinta. It was the highlight of the trip for us. This was the best rental experience I have ever had!

Such a beautiful house, immaculate, really well designed, modern but authentic. Kitchen was really well equipped for cooking, great pans, sharp knives etc - spacious and Delicous homemade granola. Bathroom was stunning, huge shower and well designed (again) and full of lots of great plants. Rooftop was perfect! big outdoor sofa for chilling with a plunge pool to cool yourself down in. We could have just sat up there all day if there wasn’t so much to explore in Olhao. Just so wonderful I would go back in a flash I also now want to live in the town. The house was was well located too, ten minute walk to chachacha (the most divine restaurant) and clse to the ferry too to explore the neighbouring beaches. Steph was the perfect host too, so friendly, accommodating and helpful made us feel so welcome and even baby sat for us whilst we had a dinner out. Steph also sourced us a travel cot for our toddler and highchair as well as leaving lots of toys and books for him to play with. 10/10

We had a fabulous three weeks at the Albufeira Ocean Apartment 😎. Almost home from home, but with a great sea view and lots of sunshine and evening sunsets. The apartment is modern, spacious and comfortable. Located in the quiet Windmill Hill area, yet great links to visit the whole of the Algarve. Would certainly recommend and indeed hope to return. Thank you to Yana and Andrey for their excellent communication and assistance.

We loved our stay. I was a little confused at times who I should be communicating with regarding property issues and we had some miscommunications but they were accommodating and understanding with our special circumstances. Fantastic place. Beautifully decorated. The neighbors were awesome and welcoming since we stayed for over a month.

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights while in Albufeira. The apt itself is great, has everything you need and a very convenient balcony that has a great view on the ocean over the building in front. The complex is great with 2 pools, one very shallow, ideal for kids, and one deeper great for adults. The complex is gaited and has an indoor parking. The indoor parking is very tight so we ended up parking outside, but still in the gaited complex. The only nuisance we ran into was the in person check in and out, which I believe is a little outdated since you have to organize a meeting. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The location is great as well, close to the old town but it's located high so walking back to the apt is very intense, something to keep in mind if you have kids. We used our car to get to the town and there was a free public parking with availability not to far from the town. There is a supermarket very close, but again, I would suggest taking a car to get to it.

Our booking of Casa Olivia was based on affordability and we were a little bit concerned about being out in the sticks. We need not have worried as it was the perfect place to stay. We were close to a diverse range of destinations and Jan was happy to offer us advice on places that were suitable for our three children. The house itself was perfect for our needs, spacious, perfectly clean and it had a touch of luxury which is very appealing! I had never slept in a four poster bed or had an en suite! Marie was away, so my comments on the host are focused on Jan. He was there when we needed him, very friendly but he also gave us the space to feel at home. The perfect host . We absolutely loved the countryside and exploring Portugal, which is relaxed, friendly and fun. I never understood why people went on holiday to the same place every year until we visited The Olive Valley. We will certainly return. Thank you!

An immaculately clean, tastefully decorated but homely studio space with lovely outside areas too. Jan & Marie are great hosts & have thought about every little detail - a quality bottle of wine upon arrival; pool as well as normal towels; a good hair dryer; a very comfy bed & a well equipped kitchen! All the little things that make an easier stay & a lighter suitcase! They are fantastic hosts - friendly and helpful but also not too fussy & allow your own space & privacy. A nice shared pool, 2 outside spaces to sit & some pretty olive groves to walk around add to the experience. A great quiet, chilled country setting - away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but only a short drive away when you want to dip into the sea or towns. Highly reccomend!! Thank you for our wonderful relaxing stay!

We waren aanvankelijk wat terughoudend om dit appartement te boeken, omdat er nog geen recensies waren. Maar zodra we binnenstapten, wisten we genoeg: *hier willen we langer blijven!* En dat hebben we ook gedaan. Vandaar verzoek van Airbnb om een 2e recensie te schrijven. Het appartement op de 2e verdieping overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het is ruim genoeg voor 2 personen, comfortabel en werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien — zelfs uitgebreider dan in de beschrijving vermeld. De keuken is perfect uitgerust voor wie graag kookt, het bed ligt heerlijk en zowel het internet als de tv-voorziening zijn uitstekend. Een zonnig balkon in de middag. De ligging is rustig in de Salgados (begin april) met een supermarkt om de hoek. Het prachtige strand is op loopafstand, of in 2 minuten met de auto te bereiken, evenals diverse restaurants. Kortom: een heerlijk verblijf — anders hadden we niet voor een 2e periode geboekt! We denken er met veel plezier aan terug. Geweldig team ook!
