Bartlett vacation rentals

The house was cozy, comfortable, and in a great location. My husband and I brought our two dogs for a little vacation. We were greeted with dog treats, bowls for food and water, personalized Good Friday Chalet stickers, and a cute sign with my name on it. Although we went in the spring, the house would also be great for one of our ski trips in the winter. There was plenty of space and two large common areas, so it would fit a group of friends comfortably. I grew up in Northern New Hampshire, so I knew a lot about the area. The house had a booklet with many great recommendations for outdoor activities, shopping, and restaurants which would be great for guests that are unfamiliar with what North Conway has to offer. The house was conveniently located in a quiet area (great for my reactive dog), but it was within walking distance of the main street. The hosts were excellent. We did have a question that we needed to text Pat about during our stay. He responded very quickly and made sure to ask us if we needed anything during our stay. I highly recommend this house for a getaway with your family, or for a group of friends that want to ski/hike/tube down the Saco.

I believe we were the first guests at Daniella’s place in August 2018 as Daniella was finishing setting up literally when we arrived. Thus, there were still few things in progress at that time, which I’m sure Daniella was able to resolve. I did see a review left prior to our stay, so not sure on that matter. Overall it is a nice cosy place at the great location - across the street from Storyland, 5 min drive to a grocery store that is open late until 9pm and 10pm on the weekends. Mt. Washington’s railroad is a pleasant 20 min drive. There are a lot of restaurants on in the close proximity on Rt 302. Definitely try Red Fox Grill, make sure to make reservation in advance, it gets very crowded. The condo is great for a family with 2 children. A little tight for 4 adults, as there are 2 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom. Kitchen and a living room is one shared space separated by the counter which serves both to prepare meals and eat, so yes, it could sleep 6, but might be pushing it in my opinion. There is no dedicated outdoor space for the apartment. It can be noisy depending on the activity at the upstairs apartment, not a big deal, but just something to be mindful of. The condo is located on the 9-hole golf course which we were denied access to due the logistics issues. It was disappointing as we were looking forward to it. Daniella was very responsive and tried to her best to address it.

Our group consisted of 4 families with adult children and significant others totaling 17. Accommodations and bedrooms worked perfectly. House had everything we needed and it was the best stocked kitchen we’ve encountered. We certainly took advantage of that. The downstairs game room with all the activities was a perfect hangout with the young adults where they spent most of their time while the adults could enjoy each other’s company separately. Everything was clearly marked, making it easy to know where things are located and Katie was available whenever needed and responded extremely promptly. Water pressure was never an issue nor was hot water especially when there so many people which was a welcome surprise. The home was easy to find and very close to downtown North Conway. The house at first glance looked small, but once you enter the home, it was a great layout and enough room for all! A great gathering place for a family reunion or a bunch of friends and plenty to do in the area. We would definitely consider renting again.

We arrived at the house and were immediately blown away with the way the owners had maximized the space. From entering the property, the multipurpose room with pool/ping pong table and large seating area with access to the hottub and the master King room were not disappointed. Walking upstairs (which had small lights that served as nightlights) we were greeted with the incredible wall of windows overlooking the mountains. The seating area and fireplace with open concept kitchen ensured we'd have an incredible stay! I especially liked the wood accents on the railing and fireplace, bench and island seating in the kitchen. With 3 bedrooms upstairs and a half bath, we didnt want for anything. The fireplace provided a cozy spot to play games and relax. Also, the well lit driveway made it easy for guests who were arriving later to find the house. Tip: right inside the front door, there is a switchpanel that has one unmarked switch which is a rectangle - that turns off the driveway lights. I missed that until very late the first night and it was bright in the upstairs bedroom, but once we turned that off all was good! We were already talking about when we could go back. I would definitely recommend this property!

We recently stayed for 9 days in July and had a great time. The location is superb, very close to many attractions in the area and close to the center of town. We drove up from NYC which took way longer than we expected (6-7 hours) even though we left early in the morning (Boston/Portsmouth traffic) but once we arrived everything felt very serene. The house was as presented in pictures but we didn't realize how close to the woods it would be! Not an issue at all, but arriving from the city it's definitely a different feeling so just FYI if you're a bit sensitive to butterflies and bugs flying around. It felt safe though and it's very spacious for a small family and a good size for a larger family with kids. Wi Fi connection was good which was important as I logged into work. Kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked almost every evening. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and big. We were advised to space out showers due to the limited hot water. This was not an issue since we were three adults (after about 30 min to an hour hot water for the showers were available again) but not a major issue at all for us. Overall we had a lovely time here and it was great relaxing getaway. So many attractions -- highlights for us included the Flume Gorge, sights along Kancamagus HIghway, Mt. Washington Summit and Pirate Cove Mini Golf was fun. Weather was raining half the time so wish we got to do more outdoors but North Conway and the surrounding areas are a wonderful place to visit and would recommend staying here!

Location, location, location! This adorable home has to be one of the very best locations in North Conway. After arrival, we only moved our cars to drive the 2 minutes to Cranmore for skiing. After that we didn't need to move our cars again until day of departure. This quaint but spacious home is a 5-minute walk from the center of N. Conway. The view from the edge of the driveway is spectacular, looking over the village with The Ledges in the background. The main living area is spacious with a nice big TV and fast Wi-Fi. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped which was important as we love to cook. Our children hung out in the second "kids" living room in the evening and the adults by the firepit in the backyard. We appreciated that we could leave our skis in the garage which was a plus. Jeremiah's communication was great and got back to us immediately when we had a question about a late checkout. The house looks small on the outside but once inside you realize it's not and leaves a big impression. We are already planning our next stay!

House was cozy and extremely well stocked! We had everything we needed to make it our very own home for a few days. We loved preparing breakfast every morning in the kitchen. Appliances were all top notch and easy to use. It was so comfortable the kids didn’t want to leave! Very importantly to me, the wifi was reliable and fast, since Verizon coverage in North Conway area is very spotty. House is located in a very private and peaceful location, with the Puddle Pond hiking trail within walking distance. It was fast to get back to White Mountain Highway or North-South Road to get to restaurants, supermarket, or even the movie theater. Only suggestion would be to have a television on the top floor. We spent most of our time upstairs and having a television to watch from the amazing couch would have been great. Thank you for hosting us in such a great home!

The location is fantastic and the home is very spacious! There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. We prepared meals in the kitchen, we grilled, we had a family movie night, and a family game night. The location is perfect for a family. Great restaurants close by and we walked to the ice cream shop down the street one night. The kids only complaint was that the tvs in the bedrooms are not smart tvs and aren’t connected to cable or anything so they found them useless. My only adult complaint is that the trash receptacles outside aren’t bear proof and we were met on check in day by a bear at the side door. The trash was emptied and we decided to keep our trash inside until check out and had no further bear incidents! The check in treats were a great added touch and we appreciate the effort put into this space for families to enjoy!! Looking forward to visiting again!!
