Morse Park is located within the same parking lot as the Welcome Center in Lake Lure, and the Washburn Marina where the tour boats depart; the Flowering Bridge and Carolina Moon Cafe are both within walking distance. The park has a play area for children, if the little ones need to run around for a while; there is also a one mile path to walk or jog. Many visitors come to the park to fish along the Rocky Broad River; keep in mind to abide by local fishing rules, and you will need to purchase a fishing license. Or just stop by to relax, bring a lunch, and people watch.

What Should I Do When the Trash Is Full?
There are two bear proof trash cans at the end of your driveway. Feel free to use these during your stay if the kitchen trash compactor gets full. Otherwise, housekeeping will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave.
