A few things to know before you arrive at Dreams Come True Cottage

Check-in time - 4 pm or later

Check-out time - NO LATER THAN 11 am.

Let us know when you arrive (text or call), and if we can verify that the cottage is ready a little early, we are happy to let you know. Please do not ask any cleaning or maintenance staff that may be onsite for limited or early access (e.g. empty the cooler into the fridge, use the bathroom, put the dog in the back yard). You are welcome to park at the cottage prior to check-in as long as doing so does not interfere with any staff that may need access up until 4 pm.

Arrived Early? We have some suggestions.

  • Take a walk! Directions and Information
    • Take 387 steps to the beach! Get your toes in the sand and start to relax!
    • Stroll along Delaware Bay
    • Take your kids or doggo for a walk at the Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Management Area (you can drive there or walk there)
  • Grab a coffee or a bite to eat.
  • Get a jump on grocery shopping (we recommend Aldi for the most cost-effective and Acme for the widest choice)

How Do We Get Access To The Cottage?

The week prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with the lock box access code. The lock box is on the front porch.

  • Slide down/lower the protective cover that is over the numeric dials.
  • Rotate/turn each number dial to the correct number
  • Slide down the black release lever on the left side of the lockbox and concurrently but gently, pull out on the front panel of the lockbox. If the code is entered correctly, the front door will fall open easily.

Once you have gained access to the cottage, we suggest that you keep the key stored in the lock box to prevent an accidental lockout.

Inspect The Property

We expect your arrival and stay to be enjoyable and relaxing, but we want to hear from you immediately if something isn't as you expected.

When you arrive at the cottage,  please inspect it and let us know immediately of any questions, problems, or concerns you may have. We have local resources nearby that can usually take care of any problems you may have rather quickly. Please give us the opportunity to make sure your stay is a  wonderful one.

Taking photographs around the cottage is a short-term rental best practice that we also suggest. General photos, and especially photos of any existing inperfections you may spot, is helpful to us and a great way to protect you and show the condition of the property upon your arrival.
