Review A207- Owner was very responsive . Usually replied with in minutes. Quiet unit, near stairs with pool access. Lots of appliances and cooking utensils provided. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of space for our family of five. We had problems with the washing machine/dryer. Owner was quick to schedule a repair man, which was great. It’s a combination washer and dryer all in one. We just needed to get the hang of it. Other than that small issue everything was great. About Waterscape- Condo building is great we came in 2018 and planned to return in 2020 but had to wait till 2021. It’s great for younger kids. This place is amazing. We looked at other places in the area and nothing compares. Baby pool play area with slide, larger pool with water features including a floating Lilly pad crossing(shown in pictures) that my boys who are 10&8 loved. Lazy river is always a favorite. Upper pool is heated so if your kids are touchy about water temp, they have someplace to swim. The beach is beautiful. Best part, it’s ocean front. So you don’t have to drive or walk across bridges. No dragging beach furniture, 2 complimentary Chairs and a large umbrella provided until about 6pm, then removed by lifeguards. It’s so convenient. Grills by pool to cook out. Covered parking.

Apple Maps brought us right to the condo complex. All units are clearly marked. Check in was easy. We arrived after dark and the lock keypad didn’t look like others I had used so it took me a minute to figure it out it. You have to touch it to illuminate it otherwise it looks like a card reader. The interior was immaculate. We had two small dogs with us so I was glad to see there was no carpet. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and 1 full bath as well as a laundry room. In the laundry room there are amenities for pets and modern washer and dryer as well as laundry detergent. Upstairs is the common living/kitchen/dining room and a huge smart TV. The kitchen is well appointed. The upstairs guest bedroom has numbers which my youngest loved. There is a half bath and the “Captain’s Quarters” bedroom has another full bath with a very nice shower and double sinks. The beds are comfortable however the bed frame did squeak a bit. Remote control ceiling fans and lights are a great perk. 10/10!!!

We were very pleased with everything. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked with thoughtful extras. It was a great place to stay for a quick getaway. We would definitely go back!

I would stay here every year! The location was not only perfect for a family staying in Fort Walton Beach, but it really does have so much to do even if you just stay at the resort! Less than 2 min walk to the beach, we just went downstairs and there it was! The lazy river and heated pools are a must for kids and parents who need a break. Walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants! Clean Kitchen came ready and prepped with everything you need to cook for your stay. We loved not having to worry about packing cups and pans and utensils. She even made sure there was laundry detergent for washing! The cherry on top for us was the twin bunk beds, with an option for a toddler rail. Our 2year old loved napping there, and having a tv by her bed! At night however, she would crawl into our bed, but the king size bed is so huge, we didn’t even notice! Li made the experience even better. She is so helpful, so thorough, and so thoughtful, she made everything easy for our stay :) Thank u!

This was not your typical vacation rental where you just show up and stay… the attention to detail, comfort, and care put into this place really stood out. Scott was absolutely incredible with communication from start to finish. He was responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely made us feel like our stay mattered. The condo itself was beyond impressive comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. The amenities were amazing, and the entire property was immaculate. We were especially impressed seeing the pool area and rinse-off stations being cared for daily. It’s clear the owners take a lot of pride in this place. We’ve rented this condo four times already—and have our fifth stay booked—which should tell you everything about how much we love it. So what keeps us coming back? Honestly, everything. First, it truly feels like home. That’s a must for us. From the comfortable, sturdy furniture (a big deal for my husband) to the well-maintained bathrooms, every detail is thoughtfully done. The unit is beautifully decorated, updated, well-furnished, and most importantly—spotlessly clean. Then there’s the view. Waking up and enjoying coffee while looking out at that scenery is one of our favorite parts of every trip. It’s absolutely amazing from the moment you open your eyes. And the beach? You simply can’t beat the access. Just a short walk across the deck and your feet are in the sand. The sand is soft, white, and stunning—easily one of the nicest beaches we’ve seen in Florida, and comparable to Turks and Caicos, which says a lot. The property itself is just as impressive. Parking is plentiful and feels very secure—we even brought our e-bikes and had no concerns leaving them in the gated lot. The building is smaller, which gives it a more private, relaxed feel, and everything is easy to navigate. The unit is on the fourth floor, accessible by elevator or stairs, and we rarely had to wait for the elevator. If your favorite week isn’t already booked, don’t hesitate—this place is truly special and makes for an incredible vacation..

We spent the whole month of February in Rhonda's beautiful condo. Rhonda is a first class host! She was very quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. The condo was clean and very nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable with ample blankets and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook and serve a meal. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The private, gated entrance to the beach was nice and there were private bathrooms for guests. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the less busy area, but were just a very short drive from Destin. We would definitely stay at A Shore Thing again!

This spacious condo provided everything you need for a wonderful vacation. There is a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony to watch the sunset! The property has 2 heated pools and a direct path to the beach. We enjoyed the beach and the poolside during our stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal in during vacation but there are many restaurants we enjoyed within walking distance that were fantastic and fun! We highly recommend staying here and will be back.
