Walking Distance to Beach Delight Vacation Rental

Mr. Tequila is our favorite place for Mexican food in Fort Myers Beach and it's less than a half mile away from our Beach Delight vacation rental. Get to Mr. Tequila Mexican restaurant by free tram from January through April or enjoy the short walk. They do offer parking if you feel like driving.

Inside and Outside Dining

You can eat on the deck or inside in the wildly colorful dining room. Comfortable booths are available for smaller groups. If you’re meeting up with friends, the long dining tables allows everyone to interact with each other. Everyone is comfortable on the plump cushioned seats.

Attentive Service

Whether dining inside the dining room or on the outdoor covered deck, you’ll receive attentive service. Within minutes of sitting down, your server will deliver complimentary fresh tortilla chips and salsa. It’s almost magical how quickly they return with your beverage order!

Chicken, pork, steak, shrimp and vegetarian options abound in Mr. Tequila’s multi-page menu. If you can’t decide on one thing, check the combinations menu.

Chicken Fajitas

Our Favorite Dinner

Andy and I love the Chicken Fajitas. The prompt and friendly server delivers the hot ingredients on a sizzling platter. The cold ingredients are artfully displayed on a side plate. The soft flour tortillas steam as you unwrap them from their foil protectors. The vegetables are perfectly cooked and still have an enjoyable crunch. The flavors are wonderful. I’ll eat the 3 tortillas stuffed full and then have leftovers to bring home for lunch the next day. Andy, on the other hand, can’t let a good thing get away and devours the entire dinner before him!

Margarita for Two

On our last visit to Mr. Tequila Mexican restaurant, we noticed someone at a nearby table enjoying an over-sized margarita. We asked for the same. We laughed after dinner and struggling to drink the last bit. When we ordered, our server questioned if we wanted two!
