About Stacy

Hi! We are Nick & Stacy Parkelj from Frisco, TX, and we love to vacation any place where we can be close to nature. Nick is from the beautiful country of Slovenia (Google it-it's a secret gem of a place!) where one is always less than 45 minutes from the mountains and forests. When we discovered Broken Bow (AKA Hochatown), we fell in love with the idea that we could be in nature, doing the things we love like hiking and kayaking, within a Hidden hour drive from our Texas home! We have 3 children, Katya, Jake & Chloe, and 2 fur babies, Cassie & Sammy. Soon to be empty-nesters, we knew that we'd have a bit more time on our hands with no kids in the house, so we decided it was the perfect time for us to buy our 1st dream cabin so that we could escape the hustle-bustle of suburbia at our leisure. We are so excited to rent it out and share our home away from home with others.
