Important Ocean Lakes 2026–2027 Update

Ocean Lakes is currently making major improvements to Sandy Harbor.

The original indoor pool, original outdoor pool, and Sandy Harbor Mini Golf closed September 8, 2026 for construction. The new facilities are targeted to open around Memorial Day weekend 2027.

The expansion is planned to include a new resort-style outdoor pool with private cabanas, a much larger indoor pool, children's splash pool and aquatic play area, two indoor body slides, expanded Game Center space, and new food service. During construction, the Adventure River is being used as a pool alternative when weather and construction conditions allow.

The separate Sandy Harbor Water Park continues to operate seasonally, so guests should check Ocean Lakes' current schedules when planning their stay.
