Rental agreement for the guests

There are two ways a guest can sign the rental agreement, upload their ID and submit it.

1. While booking

The rental agreement appears on the booking page, below the payment timeline and the cancellation policy.

• Read the agreement, then sign in the Signature box.

• Under ID verification, tap Take Photo or Upload Photo to add a government-issued ID.

• Tick I agree to the rental agreement. You can keep a copy first with Download full agreement (PDF).

• Click Continue to Payment. The signature and the ID are submitted at that point.

Note: this step only appears when you are booking. If you message the host from the Contact host page instead, there is no agreement step - you sign afterwards, using method 2. The same applies to a request sent to a host who has not connected a payment processor.

2. After sending the request

• Open the reservation from houfy.com/reservations/travel.

• Go to the Rental agreement section. It is listed as Agreement in the side navigation.

• Click Submission link. It opens the agreement page, where you can sign, upload your ID and submit. If you have already signed once, the same button reads Re-submission link.

Your host can also send you that link directly. It looks like houfy.com/agreement/AGREEMENTCODE/view?rescode=RESERVATIONCODE.
