I can’t pull my reviews from Airbnb to my Houfy listing?

Imports usually fail for one of these reasons:

• The listing on Airbnb or VRBO is hidden, paused or inactive, so there is no public page for us to read.

• The link points at an iCal or calendar feed - anything containing ical or calendar, or ending in .ics. We import from the listing page, not from a calendar sync feed.

• The link goes into your Airbnb or VRBO dashboard, or is a shortened or custom share link such as a vrbo.onelink.me link. We need the public page a guest would see.

What each link has to look like:

• Airbnb - the address must contain /rooms/ and the room number, for example airbnb.com/rooms/1234567. An Airbnb address without /rooms/ is refused before the import starts.

• VRBO - any public www.vrbo.com address works, including the current format VRBO gives you with a country prefix, for example www.vrbo.com/en-ca/cottage-rental/p9909113. You do not need to find an old-style vrbo.com/1234 number.

Homeaway and Tripadvisor listings import the same way - pick them from the Website of listing: dropdown.

VRBO and Homeaway imports run in the background and can take a few minutes. If our reader cannot reach VRBO straight away, your request is queued and the reviews are synced within 24 hours, so there is no need to try again.
