How to Sync Your Houfy Calendar with Google Calendar
Keep your Google Calendar automatically updated with your Houfy reservations. Once connected, new bookings, booking changes, and cancellations are synced automatically—no iCal links to manage and no manual updates required.

What you'll get
Automatic syncing – New reservations, date changes, and cancellations appear in Google Calendar automatically.
Calendar-only access – Houfy only manages the calendars it creates for your listings. We never access your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or personal calendars.
Choose which listings to sync – Enable only the properties you want and change them at any time.
One calendar per listing – Each property gets its own "{Listing Name} (Houfy)" calendar, making it easy to color-code or show/hide individual listings.
How to connect Google Calendar
Go to the Google Calendar page. You can also reach it from a listing: open the listing's Calendar, expand the Connect Google Calendar card and click Connect Google Calendar - that button takes you to the same page, which is where you choose which listings to sync.
Select the listings you'd like to sync. All listings are selected by default, so simply untick any you don't want.
(Optional) Choose what to sync:
Houfy reservations (recommended) – Only reservations managed by Houfy.
All calendars (master) – Includes all reservations for your listing, including bookings imported from connected channels such as Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and others.
Click Connect Google Calendar and complete Google's authorization process.
Note: Google only asks for calendar permissions. Houfy does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or any other Google services.
Choosing what to sync
Houfy reservations (default)
Only reservations managed by Houfy are synced to Google Calendar.
All calendars (master)
Syncs all reservations associated with your listing, including bookings imported from connected channels such as Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and others.
You can change this setting at any time, and your calendars will update automatically within a few minutes.
Managing your sync
Once connected, you can:
Enable or disable syncing for individual listings.
Click Sync Now to refresh a single listing.
Click Sync All Now to refresh every connected listing.
View each listing's sync status, including Last synced or Sync paused.
Open Google Calendar in a new tab with the Open Google Calendar button at the top of the page. Your Houfy calendars appear in the left-hand list, one per listing, each named after the listing with "(Houfy)" after it - tick or untick them there to show and hide individual properties..
How quickly does it sync?
Most changes appear in Google Calendar within a few minutes.
Houfy also performs a daily reconciliation to ensure your calendars remain synchronized even if an earlier update was missed.
Disconnecting Google Calendar
If you no longer want to sync:
Turn off sync for an individual listing to remove only that listing's Google calendar.
Click Disconnect to remove all Houfy-created calendars and revoke Google's access.
Disconnecting Google Calendar does not affect your reservations or listings in Houfy.
Good to know
Sync is one-way only: Houfy → Google Calendar.
Houfy only creates and manages calendars named "{Listing Name} (Houfy)".
Existing personal or shared Google calendars are never modified.
Listings added after you've connected Google Calendar can be enabled individually from the Google Calendar page at any time.
Once connected, your Houfy reservations stay organized automatically, making it easy to manage availability across all of your properties from Google Calendar.
