Charleston vacation rentals

What a charming beach house! Tammy was great to communicate with: prompt, and very friendly. Check in was painless, and we arrived to a spotless and very clean house, which, if you're anything like me and nervous about traveling during COVID your worries can be at ease here. It has everything you need to get your vacation started. The house comes with all the things you need for the beach so if you are the type of person who doesn't like to over pack, you don't have to! We arrived with not much more than our bathing suits and we were pleasantly surprised with all the amenities. There were beach chairs, beach shade tent, toys for my 5 year old, boogie boards, life jackets and floaties, a small cooler...list goes on! Berts is a few doors down for groceries and supplies (they have amazing hot breakfast sandwiches in the morning). Crowley seafood Market is nearby where we picked up local shrimp and fish to grill back at the house. The location was fantastic, right off the beach path and a very quick 1 minute walk to the beach. Outdoor shower was nice to rinse off. The house stays cool and is shaded by big trees so its perfect to catch an afternoon nap in between beach trips. We utilized the lovely, enclosed porch for our meals and relaxing. The place is more spacious than the pictures make it seem. I don't have anything bad to say about Tammy's beach house, I will be looking into staying again!

Beautiful, spacious home with plenty of room for my family. Tastefully decorated and very clean, comfortable beds with the softest bedding too. Two parking spaces were much needed. That dining room table was the best! We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great stay in this clean, comfortable end unit with lots of windows and natural light. The blackout curtains were perfect to keep the the sun out when we wanted to sleep a little later. The kitchen had a great variety of utensils which made preparing our meals easy. We loved dinner on the screened in porch and there were plenty of places to sit for a quick breakfast at the breakfast bar or leisurely game nights for our family at the table. It was so much fun to get to the beach in the golf cart! We brought a couple of bikes with us so we could each come and go as we pleased using the bikes and golf cart. The location of the home is perfect, right by the tennis courts and bike rental. We loved riding bikes on the shady path and our flat bike tire was quickly fixed by the bike rental shop. The house easily accommodated our family and we were happy to have the 3 separate bathrooms. We would definitely return!

The home was great, the area was scenic with lots of local attractions and most of all my family of 10 that included my mom and grandkids enjoyed every moment. A great weekend family getaway, PS.. 3 floors and the kids enjoyed playing hide and seek😊

Our 7th child was graduating from the College of Charleston and our family needed a place to stay for a long weekend. There was nothing large enough downtown and the beach homes were a week long stay minimum and very expensive! I booked 5 rooms at a local hotel on Mt. Pleasant and decided to check homes in that area. I found 2 homes owned by the same couple but the dates were blocked. I emailed them and said if either became available would they let me know. I got a quick response that one was a new rental and the pool was not finished but was supposed to be that week. I said I didn't care. And so we were lucky enough to be the first family to use the pool because they went over and beyond to get it done. I canceled the hotel rooms and our family arrived last Thursday to an immaculate , comfortable, well supplied home that was perfect for our large family. My husband and I took the huge master with gorgeous bath. My daughter and her husband took the other master with their 3 children who all had beds! The rest of our adult children and grandchildren were spread between the other 3 comfortable queen bedrooms. We congregated in the living room and dining area with room to spare and the kitchen is attached to this area so it makes for the perfect family space. The mornings and late afternoons found us on the gorgeous back screened porch area and decks with tons of seating. The grandchildren could not get enough of the brand new saltwater pool. The owners George and Laurie could not have been nicer or more accommodating from meeting us on arrival to giving lots of advice on local activities. To top off this house is the convenience. We ran back and forth to Charleston many times and it took about 8 minutes. My husband and sons played golf 20 minutes away. Our family has rented many many houses through the years and the Trust home may be my all time favorite . Thank you Laurie and George!

Dan and Brittanie’s place was awesome! ~10 minutes away from anywhere you need to be. They were extremely responsive and friendly. The ONLY negative thing I have to say is that the address provided takes you to another location nearby, so we had to do some circling around. Other than that, everything was great! Thank you, Dan and Brittanie.

Pros: Location, location, location! Easy walk to the beach, easy walk to restaurants (every meal we had on IOP was excellent), easy walk to shopping (though there's not many shopping options). Property Management. If I had a question I texted the property manager and they responded quickly. An issue with the elevator was fixed promptly. Most notably, our check-out date coincided with a horrible storm, but they allowed us to stay a little later so the worst of the storm could pass before we hit the road to head home. Space It's a spacious unit, perfect for two people (and two dogs!). Ocean view It isn't oceanfront, but there is still a nice view of the beach and ocean from the deck. Cons: This is an industry thing, but I really dislike the new option to check in early or check out late - for an extra fee. Misc: As other have noted, the deck over looks a beach bar. If you are someone who needs complete silence, I'd suggest looking at one of the other units in the building. I didn't notice any noise when the doors were closed and the TV was on, but if the TV was off I could hear the music playing - not loud, but enough that I could recognize the song. It wasn't bothersome to me, but I imagine someone who is noise-sensitive could be bothered by it. All in all, I would definitely stay here again, and hope to plan another trip soon.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful beach house! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate during our trip, this home gave our family so many incredible spaces to gather, relax, and make memories together. From hours of games around the dining room table, to hanging out with the uncles on the front porch drinking beers and laughing, to cozy evenings wrapped in blankets on the back porch listening to the rain — every space felt warm, comfortable, and inviting. One of our favorite memories was the late-night cousin hot tub sessions in the rain! The covered patio area under the back porch also turned into the perfect entertainment spot for flip cup tournaments and family fun. The location across from the beach is unbeatable, and the house itself is absolutely stunning. Every bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed and feels luxurious and comfortable at the same time. You can tell so much thought went into every detail of this home. You truly won’t be disappointed staying here. It was the perfect house for family time, rain or shine, and we can’t wait to come back!
