For your safety and ours, we have installed a security camera outside to monitor front door/driveway and bear activity. Remember, your stay with us is in the Smoky mountains. This is home to a variety of wildlife including BEARS, turkeys, squirrels, raccoons, skunks and various insects. Please refrain from feeding any of the animals and stay BEAR AWARE. Keep vehicle doors locked when not in use as well as food, lotions, chap sticks or other fragrance items out of vehicles. Note that even though the cabin is professionally pest control treated, you may encounter some insects both inside and outside. Refunds will not be administered for encountering a bug.

Stairs: There are 7 stairs leading up the front porch of this property. There are also carpeted stairs that lead up to the bedroom loft inside the cabin.

The drive to the cabin has routine mountain terrain for the area, but all pavement. There is one steep hill leading to the driveway, but it is no issue for any type of vehicle. Four-wheel drive is only potentially needed in icy or snowy weather for safety. Once you do it once, you'll be a pro!
