Steps to the Sea ~Walk to the Beach~ Oak Island - Oak Island

Our 3 bed, 2 bath home is walking distance to the beach! In just under a half mile, you'll be at one of the many public beach accesses in Oak Island. Our home is a wonderful place for your beach vacation! Home features a large screened in porch with table and chairs to enjoy the sea breeze. Close proximity to everything you need... grocery, restaurants, Middleton Park with playground, splash park, basketball, and pickle ball courts. Located a short drive to the town of cute town of Southport.Steps to the Sea is our home away from home where we spend a large part of our family time. The living space has an open floor plan with stocked kitchen, dining, and living area. Relax on the front porch or the side screened porch with coffee. Entire home is LVP and tile.

The living room has a Roku SMART TV and complimentary Wifi and a selection of movies and board games. The house does not have cable but all TVs are equipped with Roku for you to log into any streaming services you may have.

Primary bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom with large tiled shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two full size beds. The two secondary bedrooms share a full hall bathroom with tub and shower combination. All beds have linens. Beach towels are not provided.

The real star of the island is the beach itself. What's to love about OKI: 10 miles of uncrowded beach, 60 public access points, fishing piers, marinas, public boat ramps. Parks and putt putt, small town feel. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. No matter the time of the year, your time spent at the beach will be memorable.

Two dedicated work spaces allow working from home.

In case of a national pandemic/ state wide shut downs/ warnings and weather related advisory please obtain travel insurance in case a cancellation is needed past all the acceptable time frames for it.
