Welcome to Sydney Sells Sea Shells.

Named after our daughter and inspired by generations of family memories on Oak Island, this light-filled beach cottage sits just across from the beach access on the island's beloved West Beach.
For decades, our family has come here to watch sunsets, collect shells, fish, crab, boat, and enjoy the simple pleasures that make Oak Island special. Today, we're honored to share that tradition with you.
Whether you're spending the day on the beach, searching for shells at The Point, grilling fresh local seafood, or relaxing on the deck while pelicans glide overhead, we hope this house becomes part of your family's story too.

The Space

This comfortable 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage sleeps up to 8 guests and was designed for gathering, reconnecting, and slowing down.
Large windows, abundant natural light, ceiling fans, and casual coastal décor create a welcoming space where mornings begin with coffee on the deck and evenings end with sunset views and the sound of the ocean in the distance.

The open-concept living area includes:

• High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home
• Board games, puzzles, and family-friendly entertainment
• Plenty of room to relax after a day on the beach

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a full seafood feast.

Sleeping Arrangements
All bedrooms feature Smart TVs, ceiling fans, comfortable bedding, dressers, and plenty of natural light.

The home comfortably accommodates families, couples, and multi-generational groups looking for a relaxed beach getaway.

Outdoor Living
One of our favorite parts of the house is the outdoor space.
The large covered deck offers peekaboo ocean views, refreshing sea breezes, and front-row seats to some of the most spectacular sunsets on the East Coast.

• Sharing dinner with family and friends

Downstairs you'll find:

You'll also find beach chairs, kayaks and other beach gear available for guests to enjoy.

Beach Access
The public beach access is located approximately 50 yards from the house.
No long walks. No loading up the car.
Just grab your beach gear and head across the street.
And if you've never experienced an Oak Island sunset, you're in for something special. Because of the island's unique orientation, West Beach is one of the few places on the East Coast where you can often watch the sun set directly over the ocean.

Accessibility
There are stairways on both sides of the home.
One staircase features a gradual incline and midway landing.
An electric stair lift is inoperable at the moment. Because service providers are limited on the island, we have been unable to have it repaired.

Located on the highly sought-after west end of Oak Island, you're close to many of the island's favorite attractions.
