Perfect beach cottage for an adult getaway or two families with kids.
Enter the main floor from your front decks and the space opens up to the great room with living area, dining space and fully-equipped kitchen.
The rear deck is off the kitchen and is perfect for sunsets and overlooking the pool.
Sleeping Accommodations:
Level One -
Bedroom 1 - King bed w/full private bath and walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 - Two double beds w/shared hallway full bath and laundry room.
Level Two -
Bedroom 1 - King w/full private bath. Bedroom 2 - King bed plus 2 single beds w/shared hallway full bath.
Ground-level below the house provides wonderful space for the hot tub, outdoor shower, charcoal BBQ grill, hammocks, hanging daybed, corn hole, picnic table, and plenty of space for games. Horses come by the property most days.
No parking allowed under the house is allowed, all cars must stay on the sand.
The pool is maintained May through mid-October and has a heater that can be heated for a $300 weekly fee. Please check with Marty (owner/host) to confirm availability.
Doggos are welcome! $250 for the first and $100 for each additional. Please address this with Marty if you have any questions or want do discuss. Fees will be applied upon arrival for multiple animals as appropriate.
We are located in the Northern OBX of NC. Norfolk, VA is the closest airport, approximately 108 miles by car. Map view shows 2 miles to VA border, but the property is only accessible via Rt 12N. We are approximately 150 miles from Virgina Beach by car. We are near the Corolla, Duck and Southern Shores areas of the Northern Outer Banks.

Space for parking up to 4 vehicles on the sand in front of house. Tenant agrees to not park on concrete patio under the house & secure entry chains to keep wild horses off the concrete when patio not in use.

We are located on the coast of the Northern OBX in North Carolina.
Beachside
Getting around
Splash of Lime is at Mile Marker 22 and the entrance to the beach is at Mile Marker 13, so you will have 9 MILES of beach driving to navigate in order to get to the house. A true 4WD vehicle is best.
Air-down your tires before the pavement ends at The Historic Corolla Park by the lighthouse. Tire pressure is best at 15-20 psi even with 4WD. Do this before the 4x4 beach entrance ramp. Air-up here on your way home.
There are few street signs, no street lights, and no traffic signals/signs on the sand. Once you are off the main beach and on the "back roads", the north/south traffic ALWAYS has right-of-way, so stop at every intersection when you're going east/west, like on Bonita.
It is best to arrive at lower tide during day light. We use an app called "Tides Near Me" and use Sandbridge as the closest measurement point to get the latest tide info.
Once you've turned off the beach, you will cross Sandfiddler, then turn right on Sandpiper. The house is second on the left.
