THE LOFT
Loft 1 is a bright, modern apartment on a quiet private road just off Playa Grande's main entrance. Two buildings sit side by side on the property — five individual loft apartments total. Loft 1 and Loft 2 share one building; Lofts 3, 4, and 5 share the other. Each unit has its own private entrance, dedicated parking out front, and a patio with a bistro table and two chairs. The main level has a full kitchen with high-top bar seating, a living area with a Smart TV, and Starlink high-speed WiFi. Upstairs, a private sleeping loft beneath vaulted wood ceilings holds a queen bed and a twin bed — sleeping 3 comfortably. The open railing overlooks the living space below, giving the unit an open, airy feel without sacrificing privacy. Loft 1 is the only unit on the property with an in-unit washer and dryer — a genuine advantage for longer stays, surf trips, or families who want the convenience of laundry without coordinating shared access.

THE PROPERTY
Playa Grande Lofts is a boutique collection of five modern loft apartments in Playa Grande, Guanacaste, Costa Rica — one of the most special and least crowded beach towns on the Pacific coast. The property sits on a private road just off Playa Grande's main entrance whiel remaining walkable to everything. Each unit is self-contained and private, but the semi-open property layout creates a relaxed, community feel without being intrusive. Shared amenities include a breezeway with an outdoor shower, a bodega with shared laundry (between Units 2 and 3), and a secured back area for surfboard and beach gear storage.

THE LOCATION — PLAYA GRANDE, COSTA RICA
Playa Grande is one of Costa Rica's most beloved surf towns — and one of its best-kept secrets. Unlike the more developed Tamarindo (20 minutes south), Playa Grande has stayed true to its roots: a wide, uncrowded Pacific beach, consistent surf, and a small community of surfers, expats, and long-stay travelers who come for a week and end up staying a month. The beach is protected as part of Las Baulas National Marine Park, a UNESCO-recognized marine habitat and one of the most important leatherback sea turtle nesting grounds in the world. Development is permanently restricted, which means no high-rise hotels, no beach clubs, and no crowds.
