Nionas Cheerful House - Greece

Enjoy a cozy stay with your family and friends in this traditional house located within a peaceful settlement. Access by car through the private driveway or take the hiking trail. Visit the springs situated by the creek right outside the property and drink fresh water straight from the mountain rocks.

Apart from two beautiful bedrooms, you may find a fully equipped kitchen, as well as living and dining rooms built on different levels with unique Cycladic architecture. Please note that some doors have low clearance due to traditional stone masonry. Children need to be supervised indoors and outdoors at all times. Τhe house is not childproof as it includes stairs, a high balcony, access to the roof, and cabinets with no locks. A baby crib is included among other amenities and a large outdoor space for your pets.

You can use all spaces mentioned in the description as well as an open parking lot in the private driveway. Access in the storage rooms, basement, top floor, and closed garage is restricted.

You are renting the entire place on your own to enjoy with your friends and family privately. I will only meet you at check in to give you the house keys. I am available through messages, email or phone if you have any questions or concerns.

Nionas is a peaceful neighborhood of Piso Meria on the southern part of Andros Island. It is inhabited by friendly locals who are mostly occupied with farming. Interesting sites close to the property include the natural water spring named Vrysara, where you may still see village elders gather every afternoon, and the Greek Orthodox church of Panagia at the nearby parking lot.

You may explore the neighborhood around the property on foot through the narrow steps or follow hiking route number 4 to the countryside. As for the transportation network, be prepared for mountainous and bumpy roads with steep slopes and sharp turns. You may park at the Nionas Cheerful House Parking open space following the private driveway leading to it. If you find it difficult to access that, you can alternatively park at the Nionas free public parking lot located within a small walking distance from the property. Car rental is strongly recommended in order to explore the island as there is no reliable public transportation.
