Our one bedroom, two bath is one of the nicest at the Maui Banyan, located just steps from Kama'ole Beach II, one of Maui's most beloved beaches known for its golden sand, excellent swimming and snorkeling, sea turtle sightings, and unforgettable sunsets. Less than 5 minutes from The Shops at Wailea for excellent shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Enjoy your stylish experience in a beautifully updated condo in the heart of everything Maui has to offer.

Banyan 414 offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and the laid-back spirit of aloha. Whether you’re here for a romantic escape, an anniversary celebration, or simply to unwind, we’ve thoughtfully prepared our home to help you enjoy everything Maui has to offer. We personally have been Airbnb guests for over 11 years staying at locations around the world and Maui Banyan has always been a favorite location! Our goal is to use knowledge from these experiences to help curate the best one for you.

About the Condo

Banyan 414 is designed to comfortably accommodate up to two guests (approximately 650 sq ft).

• Two full bathrooms with walk-in showers (perfect for his/her use)

Like most vacation rentals, we provide a starter supply of paper products, including toilet paper and paper towels, and toiletries. Depending on the length of your stay, you may wish to purchase additional supplies during your visit.

Beach Essentials

To help you make the most of Maui's beautiful beaches, we've provided:
• Two Beach chairs
• Four Beach towels
• Cooler bags and an Ice Chest

Please rinse beach gear and shake the sand out of the beach towels after use and return everything to the condo so future guests may enjoy it.

Snorkel equipment and additional beach gear can easily be rented from several nearby businesses. Our favorite store for renting equipment and getting a daily "Snorkel Report" is The Snorkel Store, nearby in Kihei.

As our guest, you'll enjoy access to the Maui Banyan Resort amenities, including:

Swimming Pools & Hot Tubs

The swimming pools and hot tubs are typically open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Pool access codes are provided in your welcome packet and may also be confirmed at the Front Desk.

Please observe all posted pool rules. There is no lifeguard on duty, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Tennis Court

Guests are welcome to use the resort's tennis court during posted operating hours. Reservations are made through the Front Desk, where complimentary tennis equipment is also available.

Barbecue Areas

Community barbecue grills are located throughout the resort and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Grilling is not permitted on private lanais.

A Note for Guests with Allergies or Chemical Sensitivities

Because this is a privately owned vacation home that is professionally cleaned between guests, we cannot guarantee a completely fragrance free environment.

The toiletries provided in the bathrooms may also contain fragrance. Guests with allergies or chemical sensitivities are encouraged to bring any personal products that best meet their individual needs.

Smoking

Banyan 414 is a 100% non-smoking vacation home.

Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, and any other smoking products are prohibited inside the condo, on the lanai, and throughout non-designated areas of the Maui Banyan property.

Guests who choose to smoke must use one of the resort's designated smoking areas.

Guests are responsible for any cleaning or remediation costs resulting from violations of the resort’s smoking policy.

Occupancy

Banyan 414 accommodates a maximum of two adult guests. If you are a family with small children, arrangements can be made. Please note the condo does not include a Pack N Play and is not child proof

Guest Guide & House Information

We've put together the following information to help make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Please take a few moments to review these guidelines, as they include important information about the condo, the Maui Banyan Resort, and the condo association rules that all guests are required to follow.

If there is anything you need during your visit or you notice something that needs attention, please let our local on island management team know as soon as possible. Their contact information will be provided in your welcome packet. They are just a message away and happy to assist. You will also find their contact information in our condo (on the kitchen counter) and there is a QR code to scan as well. Reporting any issues to them helps us to resolve them quickly and helps ensure you and future guests enjoy an excellent experience.

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.

Banyan 414 features a keyless lock system. A unique door lock code will be provided prior to your arrival. This code is active only for the dates of your reservation, allowing you to enjoy a convenient, keyless self check-in experience.

We will do our best to accomodate early check-in requests, but early access cannot be promised. Our housekeeping team works on a tight schedule to prepare the condo for each arriving guest.

Guest Registration

In accordance with Maui Banyan Resort requirements, all guests must complete the resort registration process.

Prior to your arrival, we'll pre-register your reservation through the resort's electronic guest system using the email address and phone number provided with your booking. You may receive an email from the resort to review and confirm your registration details.

Upon arrival, please stop by the Front Desk to complete your registration and receive your parking pass. If you arrive after the Front Desk has closed, you may register the following morning.
Providing a valid email address and phone number is required by the resort. The Front Desk is open every day from 8 AM to 11 PM.

Parking

One complimentary parking space is included with your reservation.

Parking passes are issued at the Front Desk during registration.

Please have your vehicle's license plate number available and display the parking pass while parked on the property. If you arrive after the Front Desk has closed, you may register the following morning. We will provide our parking space number so you know where to park.

Check-out time is 10:00 AM.

Prompt departure allows our cleaning team sufficient time to prepare the condo for incoming guests.

Before checking out, we kindly ask that you:
• Place used towels in the bathroom.
• Wash or start the dishwasher if you've used dishes.
• Dispose of household trash in the designated trash area.
• Turn off lights and small appliances.
• Lock all doors when you leave.

Our professional housekeeping team will take care of the remainder so you can enjoy the last moments of your Maui vacation.

If you would like to request a late check-out, please contact us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate requests whenever our schedule allows.

Unauthorized early arrivals or late departures may result in additional charges, as they can delay housekeeping and maintenance services.

Guest Occupancy

Only the guests included on the reservation may occupy the condo. Daytime visitors are expected to respect resort rules and should not create excessive noise or disturb neighboring residents.

Reservations made on behalf of someone else (third-party bookings) are not permitted under Airbnb policies.

Quiet hours

Resort quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM.

Please be considerate of neighboring owners and guests by keeping voices, televisions, and music at a respectful volume, especially during evening hours and when out on the lanai.

Other things to note
Respecting the Resort

Please help us care for both our condo and the beautiful Maui Banyan property by following these simple guidelines:

• Do not hang towels, swimsuits, or clothing over lanai railings.
• Please use the community barbecue areas rather than portable grills.
• Drones are not permitted on resort property.
• Be respectful of neighboring owners and guests.

Island Living: Helpful Tips for Your Stay

One of the joys of visiting Maui is experiencing the island's natural beauty and relaxed way of life. Living in a tropical environment is a little different than living on the mainland, so we'd like to share a few helpful tips to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Embracing the Tropics

Maui's warm climate, lush landscaping, and ocean breezes create an incredible environment—not only for visitors, but also for the island's unique plants and wildlife.

From colorful birds and fragrant flowers to the occasional gecko or tiny ghost ant, sharing the island with nature is simply part of everyday life.

Our Little Gecko Friends

If you're lucky, you may spot a small gecko on the property or even inside the condo. These tiny lizards are completely harmless and are actually welcomed by many local residents because they help control mosquitoes and other insects. Hawaiian tradition even considers geckos to be a symbol of good luck.

If one pays you a visit, think of it as your own little island greeter!

Tropical Insects

Even with regular professional cleaning and pest management, it's normal to occasionally see small insects in Hawaii. Tiny ghost ants can sometimes appear briefly in search of food or water, particularly during periods of changing weather. They're harmless and usually disappear as quickly as they arrive.

To help keep unwanted visitors outside, we kindly ask that you:
• Store food in sealed containers whenever possible.
• Wipe kitchen counters after preparing meals.
• Wash dishes or start the dishwasher after use.
• Remove household trash regularly.
• Keep doors and lanai screens closed when not in use.

These simple steps go a long way toward keeping the condo comfortable during your stay.

Fire Safety

Open flames are not permitted anywhere on the property. This includes candles, incense, mosquito coils, and portable grills.

Community barbeque grills are available for guest use near the pool areas.

Security

Your safety is important to us! While Maui Banyan provides 24 hour onsite security, we highly recommend you:

• Lock all doors and windows whenever leaving the condo.
• Never leave valuables unattended on the lanai or in common areas.
• Supervise children at all times, particularly around lanai, pools, hot tubs, and parking areas.
• Use all amenities responsibly and at your own risk.

Parties & Events

To preserve the peaceful atmosphere enjoyed by all owners and guests, parties, receptions, weddings, and events are not permitted.

The condo may not be used for commercial activities (including video recording), gatherings, or any unlawful purpose.

Other Things to Note

A Helpful Tip About Cardboard

One thing many visitors don't realize is that cardboard boxes and paper grocery bags can sometimes attract tropical insects. Whenever possible, we recommend unpacking groceries and disposing of the cardboard promptly rather than storing boxes inside the condo.

It's a small habit that helps keep unwanted pests from finding their way indoors.

The Bathroom Fan

You may notice that the bathroom ventilation fan operates continuously. This is intentional and is part of the building's moisture-control system, helping reduce humidity and protect the condo from mold and mildew in Maui's tropical climate.

If the sound is noticeable, simply closing the bathroom door usually minimizes it.

Right of Entry

When necessary, the owner, property manager, or authorized service providers may enter the condo to perform emergency repairs, required maintenance, or safety inspections. Whenever practical, reasonable notice will be provided in advance.

Unexpected events

While we make every effort to provide an exceptional vacation experience, circumstances beyond anyone's control may occasionally occur. These may include severe weather, tropical storms, hurricanes, flooding, wildfires, earthquakes, utility or internet outages, public health emergencies, government actions, or other unexpected events.

The owners cannot be held responsible for interruptions to your stay resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Travel Insurance

Because unexpected events can affect travel plans, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your vacation investment.

Travel insurance may provide coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, travel delays, weather-related interruptions, and other unexpected situations.

Association Rules

All guests are required to comply with the Maui Banyan Resort house rules during their stay. These rules are provided as part of the resort registration process and are intended to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Acceptance of Policies

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by these Guest Guidelines, applicable booking platform policies, and the Maui Banyan House Rules. Failure to comply with these policies may result in additional charges or termination of the reservation when necessary.
