Meet the Host
Hi, weโre Derek & Samantha, and along with our two children, weโve called Knoxville home for over a decade. Weโve always loved exploring, unplugging, and working throughout the Smoky Mountains, and we created The Nord Pine to share that love of the area with others. โNordโ comes from the Old Norse word for north, a nod to our New England roots near Boston. We hope your stay helps you slow down, enjoy the views, and make memories that bring you back again and again!

Getting around
GPS works well, but some navigation apps may try to reroute through narrow roads, follow the main roads above for the smoothest route. Roads around this area are mountain-hilly and winding with curves and elevation changes. The driveway is paved with a moderate incline and is suitable for cars, SUVs, and trucks. Limited cell service may occur in spots โ saving directions offline is recommended. The private driveway fits 2โ3 vehicles comfortably
