DOGS AND PETS POLICY- Pennsylvania State Laws require that all pets be on their owner’s property or under the control of their owners at all times. HOA Code of Conduct states the following:
All pets must be properly licensed according to State, County or Municipal laws.
All dogs must be on a leash under 8 feet in length and under the control of their handler at all times when not on the owner’s property. The leash requirement is in effect year round!
It is the responsibility of the handler to pick up and properly dispose of all dog feces (on and off property)!
Pets are NOT ALLOWED in the Lakes or streams.
PETS (Fees)
There is a $25/night, PER PET (2 Pet Max). Please no dogs that bark constantly as it would violate the noise policy. Pets must be attended at all times inside and outside. Guest must clean up dog hair and food from house, and poop from yard and neighborhood. Any damage from pets will be deducted from security deposit or billed. Guest is fully responsible/liable for pet’s behavior on the property. Owner is not liable for any injuries or damage caused by pets. Excess dirt, pet hair, wet dog smell/stains or otherwise will result in additional $150 heavy cleaning charge. In the lease, unregistered pets are subject to immediate eviction for your group, so please register your pet if you plan to bring one.

The Mt. Maplewood Lodge is a rustic lodge, with a huge wraparound deck, AC, a covered hot tub, a pool table, and multiple televisions. The dining room will accommodate adults, with additional seating at the nearby bar area.
The massive front deck overlooks the heavily wooded property; you may even hear the on-site stream rippling in the background. There is a separate downstairs Rec room with a pool table and large flat-screen television. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer as well as 2 bathrooms. It is a perfect home for family gatherings and is kid friendly with a full-size crib and high chair.
There are many nearby attractions including Kalahari Indoor Waterpark, Aquatopia Waterpark & Ski Resort, Mount Airy Casino, Camel Beach, a huge Crossroads outlet mall, horseback riding, fishing, multiple golf courses, go-karting, Bushkill falls, white water rafting, NASCAR and more. The Mt. Maplewood Lodge is located 20 minutes from the Lake Harmony area which also includes Jack Frost and Big Boulder mountains for fabulous skiing. Camelback Mountain is a quick 10 miles away.
The Mt. Maplewood Lodge is located right on Rt. 940 and 10mi from Camelback Skiing; 14mi from the Lake Harmony area which also includes Jack Frost; Big Boulder mountains for fabulous skiing. If you would like a change of pace the historic village of Jim Thorpe which boasts skirmish paintball & whitewater rafting is a short 25-minute drive.

There is so much to do every season from skiing, golfing, and waterparks, to sailing, concerts, and biking or tennis. We will give you access to our Mt. Maplewood Lodge site which has year-round activities listed and updated seasonally. Because we are part of the 5-star Lake Naomi Club we get to extend that benefit to you, our guests for a fraction of what most resorts charge! You'll also have the ability to purchase access to Lake Naomi's 277-acre lake with boating, fishing, (heated) outdoor pools, indoor pool & splash park, sauna, spa, indoor tennis, fitness center, large game room, and activities for the entire family.

Membership to the club provides access to the lakes and beaches, the clubhouse‐ restaurants, participation in recreation and social activities, the recreation tennis courts, two outdoor pools, tennis (court fees are additional), and golf (greens fees are additional). It also provides access to the Logan Steele Community Center which includes usage of an indoor pool with zero-depth entry with an indoor spray park, adult whirlpool, steam room, sauna, state-of-the-art fitness center, aerobic room, multi-purpose room for various sports, cafe, indoor tot lot, outdoor playground and wireless internet usage. The Temporary Membership application and photo submission must be arranged directly through the Lake Naomi Club within seven days prior to your arrival.
