Aloha and welcome to our very own slice of paradise located at the incredible beachfront Kauai Beach Resort & Spa (“KBR”). A 4-Star luxury resort and 25-acre masterpiece, KBR is nestled along a pristine, private 3 mile stretch of crystal blue waters and lush landscaping that is less than 10 minutes from the airport, championship golf courses, shopping and delicious dining options. Centrally located between the north and south shores of Kauai makes immersing yourselves in all the fun and excursions Kauai has to offer a breeze.

There is so much to experience at this resort. As soon as you enter KBR’s open air and breezy lobby, you will immediately feel relaxed and ready for vacation. Chill in one of the comfy chaises to sip your Starbuck’s coffee, available on site, or check your email using the free Wi-Fi available throughout the resort and in your room. Shop in the gift shop or chat with the activities concierge to plan your excursions during your stay. Lounge at one of the four salt water pools, including 2 lagoons and a kid-friendly sand bottom pool, or one of the hot tubs under a waterfall. Kids will have a blast sliding down the 75 foot lava tube slide or playing volleyball in the pool. Enjoy a quick bite or drink at Driftwood Bar & Grill poolside or stroll over to one of the restaurants on site serving up delicious bites that will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. After a full workout at the gym, indulge in a massage or facial at KBR’s spa and then relax by the fire pit while enjoying cocktails and nightly live music.

Our unit, "KBR 3126" is in the best location at the resort with gorgeous views of the pools and the ocean. Very private, far enough away from any hustle and bustle and no elevators needed, this first floor location gives you walk-out access from our unit directly to the pools and ocean making trips to and from super convenient with little ones or to take quick breaks from the sun to grab fresh drinks and snacks from our full size fridge inside. You also will enjoy having your very own large and private lanai to sit and sip wine as you watch the sunset over the ocean.

Formerly a Hilton property, all of the units at KBR are hotel rooms but they are all privately owned. Unlike most of the rooms at KBR though, our unit 3126 was COMPLETELY RENOVATED end of 2021 and updated with beachy vibes including brand new walls, paint, artwork, furniture and luxury vinyl plank flooring (no gross carpet that collects all the sand and dirt from every guest). Brand new AC unit in 2023. Two super comfy QUEEN beds (almost all other units only have either 2 doubles or a single King) with new linens and extra pillows that can easily accommodate small families, a girls’ trip or a couple looking for extra room. All the typical amenities of a hotel room are provided including a hair dryer, safe, iron/ironing board and coffee pot/cups plus a Keurig with a starter set of K cups for your convenience. We also provide pool towels and bath towels for 4 people.

So how is renting our unit via VRBO different from renting through KBR’s website or other travel sites? With us, you will know the exact room and location you are getting as opposed to finding out upon arrival what your room looks like and what your view will be, which could be the opposite side of the resort looking at mountains or the parking lot and dumpsters. And even more importantly, all the money saved with lower nightly rental rates and not paying KBR’s extra charges such as $40/extra person/night, $40/night for roll away bed and KBR's daily resort fee of $25/night. Through us, you have access to all of the resorts amenities with the exception of the hotel shuttle, 7:00 a.m. yoga or the occasionally offered hula or lei making classes. Another difference is that we do not provide daily maid service but do charge a fee at time of booking for a cleaning that is completed after you check-out to ensure our unit is cleaned and sanitized for all our guests upon arrival. You may, however, request a mid-stay cleaning for an additional $80 (good idea if too much sand in your room is not your jam) or extra towels for $25 (we recommend this as it is very humid and nothing dries quickly). We only ask that you make your requests to us at time of booking so that we can be sure to get that scheduled with our cleaning crew during your stay. Please also note there is a parking fee of $35/day plus tax charged by the resort to all KBR guests with cars, including ours, that is paid directly to the resort upon your check-in. This fee is subject to change without notice.

HOUSE RULES:

• Check-in time is 4:00 PM / Check-out time is 10:00 AM

• Upon arrival, please check-in at the front desk; you will need to provide a valid driver’s license or passport and credit card

• Be sure to use the outdoor shower that is conveniently located near our unit to wash sand off your feet to keep room as free of sand as possible. You will be very glad you did!

• No pets (sorry even our comfort fur babies aren't allowed at KBR)

• No smoking

• Resort's parking fee of $35/day plus tax collected at check-in and paid directly to the resort

• Required Hawaii Taxes are collected at time of booking
