We welcome one well-behaved dog to join you during your stay! West Jefferson is a wonderful dog-friendly town, and we understand how important it is to be able to travel with your furry companion. To ensure we can continue offering a clean and comfortable space for all guests, we do require a $350 refundable pet security deposit. This will be fully refunded after checkout once our cleaners have confirmed that no pet-related damage has occurred. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to help make your trip enjoyable for both you and your pup!

Final Leg: Into West Jefferson
If you're already in town around downtown West Jefferson follow this route:
Head toward School Avenue, which intersects Main Street (US‑221) about ½ block past the courthouse.
Turn left onto School Ave when approaching from downtown.
Drive approximately 0.3 miles up School Ave until you reach the intersection with High Street (look for the street sign).
Turn right onto High Street. This is the road often labeled “High St” near High Drive/High Dr on GPS.
Continue uphill on High St for about 0.4 miles: the road becomes steeper and winds slightly.
You’ll see a "Steep Hill Ahead" warning sign – that’s your cue the final stretch is coming.
Turn left onto High Drive (High Dr) immediately after passing the sign.
Follow the paved road up and around—it curves left, then right, climbing the hill.
#7 High Drive will be on your right, about halfway up. Look for the A-frame cabin with black trim and a small gravel drive.
