Link Light Rail
The closest light rail location to the home is the Roosevelt Station. It's 5 blocks away on the corner of 66th St and 12th Ave NE. It’s located about .4 miles away, or a 9 minute walk. The light rail offers easy access to downtown’s Pike Place Market, boardwalks, Ferris wheel and more. You can also take the light rail directly to the stadium at UW, downtown, or the airport.
Whenever I have enough time, I always take the light rail to the airport because it costs $3 vs $80 Uber or Lyft. Keep in mind, it will take you about 10 minutes to the station from the home by foot and another 50 mins to get from the station to the airport. It will help you avoid heavy traffic if that may be an issue too.
Uber & Lyft
The fastest and most reliable mode of transportation in our opinion. Simply download the App and go. Uber/Lyft Driver’s are always minutes away.
Turo & Car2Go
You can rent a car with car sharing apps by downloading Turo or the Car2Go app.
Parking
Street parking is available and is usually pretty ample. Please note, this home does not come with a designated parking spot. We don’t typically allow parking in the driveway as it’s very small (105” wide X 230” long). You can use it if you feel comfortable with how steep and narrow it is but again, the home is listed without having a parking spot.
Please note, there are several stairs you'll have to take to enter the home. There are 18 steps into the house and 14 stairs up to lofted area.
This home does not come with a parking spot. We recommend street parking. Free street parking is available directly in front of the home and in the surrounding neighborhood, though it is zoned and marked as 2-hour parking for non residents. We also do NOT provide a visitor zone parking pass. Although this seems strict, most guests have found that moving their car once a day is sufficient and have not experienced any issues or received tickets (though we do not guarantee this same experience for you).

Absolutely No Parties. If any glitter or confetti is found after your stay, you will be charged an additionally cleaning fee and possibly negative review for not following our house guidelines.
Lastly, Seattle is one of the least air conditioned cities in the US, with only 33% of households having it because historically, we haven’t needed it. Obviously things have changed and it can get warm here. The home does not have central A/C but we have a rolling A/C unit for the loft. Additionally, we have provided fans for each of the bedrooms and two larger fans for the lofted area. Other than what’s provided we do not provide refunds outside of the refund window due to weather.
