GATHER & RELAX
Sink into the leather seating in the open living room with exposed beams and enjoy a movie night on the 75-inch Roku TV, or head to the game room for a round on the pool table. The fully equipped kitchen features a professional Viking range, two dining tables that each seat 8, and plenty of counter space for cooking together. Outside you'll find three decks with sweeping mountain views, a private hot tub under the trees, an indoor dry sauna, and a pellet smoker (Traeger) plus BBQ grill ready for dinner.
STAY CONNECTED
Fast 600 Mbps Wi-Fi (network name "Bairs Den") and a dedicated workspace with printer make remote work easy. The whole home has central air conditioning and an in-unit washer and dryer. A 24KW automatic backup generator keeps everything running in any weather. Free parking on premises - 2-car garage plus driveway. The yard is fenced.
PETS
Up to 2 pre-approved dogs are welcome - please reach out before booking to confirm. A $100 fee applies per pet.
THE SETTING
The Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad runs right behind the property - during the day you may hear the historic train pass, a nostalgic sound that feels like a postcard come to life. It does not run at night, so evenings stay quiet. James Ranch Grill and farm store is just down the road, and both downtown Durango and Purgatory Resort are about 15 minutes away.

Why 'Bair'? The family name behind the lodge is Bair — spelled B-A-I-R — Michelle's maiden name. Her parents loved Colorado and would have loved this house; they passed before it became ours. Inside you'll find our old curved sign, 'The Bair's Den,' still hanging. Now you know the story. — Michelle & Brian
