Guests can enjoy using the whole property except the locked attic access and locked crawl space under the cabin. Guests are not allowed to remove any items from the property or to try to gain access to these areas mentioned above.

The neighborhood consists of eight cabins on a ridgeline of a mountain that over look Wears Valley and part of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

The roads all paved, but steep and people arrive by their own vehicles. All wheel or four wheel drive are advisable in the winter months due to the steep grade of the roads and in case of unexpected snow or ice.

Please Note:
Breathless cabin requires a standard short term rental agreement that must be signed before door codes are given out. This is allowed by Airbnb for hosts who use property management services.

🐻 Wildlife in the Smokies
One of the joys of staying in the Smoky Mountains is being close to nature. It’s not unusual to see deer, wild turkeys, or even a curious bear from a distance. While these moments make the cabin experience memorable, please remember:
Enjoy wildlife from afar — never feed or approach animals.
Keep doors and car windows closed to avoid attracting visitors.
Secure food and trash properly during your stay in the trash cans in the bear proof bin outside the cabin.
Keep the Hot Tub lid closed and secure too please, because bears love them too and don't understand why we don't want to share that with them.
Most guests love the chance to see nature up close, and following these simple guidelines keeps both you and the wildlife safe.
We treat the cabin monthly to deter insects, though in the Smoky Mountains you may still notice the occasional insect or critter. It’s part of mountain living, and while refunds aren’t given for this, we’re always happy to assist if needed.
