The space
Your spacious updated mountain cabin is conveniently situated with just 5 minutes to Conifer for shopping and dining and 15 minutes to downtown Evergreen. Ideal for families, couples or professionals looking for a comfortable place to stay.
Bring or rent bikes~ Blue Creek Road is a beautiful and serene ride right out our front door. Just 7 minute drive to hiking at Maxwell Falls Trail; 5 minutes to Flying J Ranch.
Upon arriving, you'll immediately feel secluded with the treed and the open natural grassed meadow- not overly landscaped or perfectly manicured-keeping the native feel. *Note-you will see 2 of the neighbors homes, but they are at a distance. Two acres of our meadow is fenced to keep your dog plenty happy to roam. We have a $50.00 dog fee for the whole stay, MAX is 2 dogs. **Note: While we welcome your Dog(s), no other animals and we do have an absolute NO Cat policy. $200.00 fee will be charged for any trace of a cat. Severe Allergies!
As you enter thru the back patio to access our keyless lock. Feel the energy of the live plants that welcome you once inside the mud /laundry room.
Head into the bright kitchen and dining room, where the extra large windows will keep you connected to the serene outside meadow.
You will feel right at home preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen, chef preferred gas range and dishwasher; full sized fridge; microwave, coffee bar with coffee grinder, French Press and drip coffee pot, tea kettle, starter fresh coffee, teas, & sweeteners and blender.
Farm style dining table sits right off of the kitchen and next to the large windows, so you almost feel like your are eating outside.
Relaxing in the spacious open living area with the rock wood- burning fireplace is cozy, warm and welcoming while you stream a show or just hang with your family and friends. ~High Speed Internet; Smart TV, ~~No Cable~~You may log into your own accounts to stream your favorites.
Fold-down work desk and chair, charging station is provided if you need to do a little work while visiting.
Main bathroom is off of the living room, includes a bathtub and shower.
You will love the roomy master bedroom with its King size bed, 100% cotton sheets, cozy comforter, wood-burning moss rock fireplace, large windows looking out to the tranquil treed meadow.
En-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower.
You can access the private deck right off of master bedroom, perfect for morning coffee or evening drink.
The second bedroom has a Queen size bed, 100% cotton sheets, warm comforter and large closet~plenty of room for your things.
The third bedroom has a Queen size bed, 100% cotton sheets, warm comforter and large walk-in closet.
In the warmer months, your can relax on the back decks, sip some wine, enjoy dinner and watch your dogs love the freedom of running in the fenced 2 acres of the meadow. "Dogs loved the ample meadow"....guests so often comment, as well as seeing deer and sometimes elk roam the property.

~We DO NOT have WHOLE house air conditioning, but do have one air conditioner in the master bedroom, available during the warmer months. We rely on the cool mountain nights to cool the home.
Oscillating fans provided.
*We do not have an outdoor grill as it is prohibited as stated in our county permit regulations.

Both Conifer and Evergreen have great options for eateries, winery and brew pubs and groceries.

**Note: For your security and ours, we do have 2 security camera outside ~ one that faces our driveway, and at the first front entry. No audio.

WINTER: Driveway is short, you can access with front wheel, but we recommend 4-wheel for Colorado winter driving. Home is off of a county maintained paved road.
We do have scheduled plows when over 3 inches.
*The reservation is for only the registered guests listed at all times. **2 Dog max-with $50.00 fee per stay. Guest is responsible for any damage caused by dogs. We are fine if you wish to have an extra guest or 2 visit during your stay, but PLEASE, NO unauthorized overnight guests OR UNAPPROVED GATHERINGS /PARTIES of more than 2 than those on the reservation- County regulations.

Guests can use all available space on property, including outside dining decks and 3 acres (2 acres are fenced for your pup)
WINTER DRIVING: We always recommend 4-Wheel drive when traveling in Colorado in the winter. Home is located off a county maintained street and our driveway is plowed when needed, although, we cannot guarantee a specific time.
Note: There is a garage, but is NOT for guest use, with the exception of your overflow trash/recycle storage, IF needed for longer stays.
Please don't block the garage doors with your vehicle.This is rented to another tenant for storage.
Your home is just a half mile from the main access road to Evergreen and Conifer.

Other things to note
As always- we are happy to offer Early Check-In or Late Check-Out~IF~available. This depends on if there are guests checking out or in the day of your request.
(Nominal fee may apply if requesting more than 2 hours)

PET FEE: $50.00 PER STAY MAX-2 Dogs. We appreciate your taking good care of your dogs and picking up after them in the immediate yard. We do recommend your providing kennels for your dogs if you plan on leaving unattended inside our home. You are responsible for any pet damage. **Please, NO CATS due to allergies for future guests** Guest is responsible for any damage caused by pets.

Just so there are no surprises or frustrations: Due to local COUNTY REGULATIONS~ Reservation is for ONLY the paid guest(s) listed on the reservation at all times. Limit is 6 adults/children. We don't mind If you would like to have an extra guest or 2 visit during the day, but no extra overnight guests please. IF YOU INTEND TO HOLD A PRE WEDDING GETTING-READY, REHEARSAL OR ANY OTHER GATHERING, THIS MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU. We do not allow due to County Regulations You will be asked to leave immediately and/or charged $75.00 per extra guest.
We do have 2 outdoor cameras that face the driveway, & the side front door. The owner of this home lives next door.
