Sugar Mountain (featured in the photo) is just a short drive from the cabin. Those views can be seen seasonally from the backyard and as soon as you turn onto the road. The backyard is completely fenced-in for guests bringing pets to appreciate.

The two maple trees in front of the house provide some greenery in the summer months.

Come relax on the front porch with some swinging and rocking.

Come roast some s'mores over the fire pit!

The game room features many board games, a gaming console, puzzles, and a Pac-Man Arcade.

This Pac-Man arcade is a big hit with the guests! The futon makes for a great last-minute sleeping accommodation and the curtains can close off the game room for privacy.

This kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you need to make a delicious meal.

The kitchen is open to the living room and the window brings in plenty of sunlight.

The dining room has plenty of seating with our custom-built table and bench.

Enjoy a meal with friends and family around the dining room table.

Feel free to kick up your feet and enjoy a movie in the living room with friends and family.

Cozy up by the fire place during those cooler months.

The sunroom is one of my favorite spots in the house. It makes for a great spot to read a book and bask in the warmth of the sun.

There is a door that leads to the back porch from the downstairs bedroom for your own private entry. All entry doors have secondary locks for your own peace-of-mind.

The downstairs bathroom is stocked with plenty of towels for your convenience.

The primary bedroom upstairs features a king-sized mattress; a sitting area with a coffee table; a full-sized dresser to unpack; and a desk and chair to utilize during your stay.

The desk is located in the primary bedroom upstairs. This is great if you need to escape to a quick Zoom call while working remote.

Bunk beds feature a full-sized mattress on the bottom and a twin-sized mattress on top.

The upstairs queen bedroom is nice and cozy.

Soak in the upstairs bathroom tub! Stocked with everything you need.

We have the fire wood rack stocked for guests to use for the fire pit.

The back porch is the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

Grill some burgers on the propane grill on the back porch!

There is ample space for parking on the property with the gravel horseshoe driveway.

Log Cabin Retreat in Banner Elk!

Blue Hummingbird Cabin is nestled between Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain! Enjoy the home’s seasonal mountain views with a spacious, fully fenced-in backyard (bring the pups!) while roasting marshmallows (provided!) in a swing by the fire pit. The cabin also includes a game room with a Pac-Man arcade, board games, and more. Located ~2 miles from Downtown Banner Elk, 5 mins to Banner Elk Winery, and 25 mins to Boone. A wonderful getaway to make memories with family and friends.

The house is a genuine log cabin! There are three bedrooms and one full-sized bathroom upstairs; and, one bedroom and one full-sized bathroom downstairs. The game room is located downstairs with optional curtains to close off the room for privacy. For the cooler months, the house has central heating as well as portable heaters located in each bedroom. For the warmer months, ceiling fans, tower fans, and portable AC units are provided for your comfort.
