Step onto the private deck/balcony for wooded views, outdoor seating, and a BBQ grill. Propane is not supplied. The private backyard is not fully fenced, and the sloping quarter-acre property has very little usable yard space; a park is very close by.
The driveway is a STEEP downhill. There is room for 2 cars, maybe 3 or 4 if you are careful. Overall the quarter acre of property is quite sloped and there is not much usable outdoor yard space, but there is a park very close by. We are smoke/vape/pet free property (both indoors and out) and appreciate our guests helping us stay that way. The house is in a subdivision in a town of about 5000 people--so you trade a spacious yard for being close to lots of stores and restaurants and about 5 minutes to the ARK!
You'll have access to the house except for a few locked supply closets, including the living areas, media room, converted garage game room, and private outdoor spaces.
A private entrance and smart lock make self check-in convenient. Luggage dropoff is allowed. This is a split-level home with stairs between levels.
I welcome your questions and want to make your stay as enjoyable as I can. I live an hour away and am mainly available through the app, but I also have security services and cleaners in the area that can be over sooner if needed.
Dry Ridge is in a wonderful spot, about halfway between Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY in the heart of Bourbon and Horse Country, and right on I-75.
The neighborhood that we call home is in the heart of Dry Ridge, a quiet subdivision very near to shops, restaurants, pharmacies, Wal-mart, Williamstown Lake, Waterworks Splash Pad, Piddle Park, and the list goes on. We are less than 10 minutes from the Ark Encounter and about 35 minutes to the Creation Museum and 30 minutes to downtown Cincinnati.
Dry Ridge has a lot to offer those looking to visit this area.
-Situated nearly halfway between Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY
-Less than 10 minutes from the ARK ENCOUNTER
-35 minutes to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY
-In the heart of Horse Country and Bourbon Country
-Approximately 1 mile from I-75 for easy access
-No hustle and bustle of the city, but you can be in Downtown Cincinnati in no time.
Our home sits at the extreme rear of a large subdivision at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is in the heart of Dry Ridge and just minutes from anything you might need for your stay such as
-Shops
-Restaurants like Cracker Barrel, Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Beans (a donut shop that is a local favorite) and many others
-bars
-Pharmacies like Walgreens and Grant County Drugs
-doctor's offices
-Wal-mart
-Piddle Park, a local park with a beautiful pond and fountain
-Waterworks Splash Pad
-Williamstown Lake
...and the list goes on.
For those visiting the Ark Encounter and not familiar with the area, Dry Ridge is larger and has much more to offer than staying in Williamstown.
Please note that there should be no parking in the cul-de-sac, please park in the driveway. Although it is steep, there is room there for 2 cars (3 if they aren't too big).
The house is about 3/4 of a mile from the interstate, and as such, there is a gentle hum of cars going by when outside, although it is barely noticeable inside, I want guests to be aware.
