Our home sits on a ridge above downtown Crested Butte, offering spectacular panoramic views from the main living areas and wraparound deck—perfect for alpine scenery enthusiasts. Secluded yet just 10 minutes from downtown, it’s the perfect getaway for families with kids.

Upstairs: The main living area upstairs is an open concept with beautiful 25 foot high ceilings in the living room, kitchen and dining room with skylights and custom beam work - the views from these main living areas are breathtaking! The floating chefs kitchen has all the required cooking appliance/utensils to ensure a fantastic in-home dinning experience. Each of the 4 bedrooms upstairs have en-suite bathrooms, and an exterior door with direct access to the wrap-around deck. The expansive wrap-around deck includes a hot tub, gas grill and outdoor dining/seating. The office has a computer monitor with keyboard/mouse for easy hookup to your laptop. Fast WiFi and also fantastic cell phone reception throughout the entire house and property. We also provide an iPad with Sonos multi-room audio control, a telescope, guitar, piano and a few other surprises.

Downstairs: The 5th bedroom is located downstairs and is the bunkroom. This is perfect for the kids and has 8 total beds (4 fulls and 4 twins) with an ensuite bathroom. The lounge room is for the kids to play and has multiple video game systems and a large TV. The laundry room has double washers/dryers as well as two exercise bikes. The oversized heated garage has room to park 1 of your vehicles during your stay as well as an extra extra fridge/freezer, exercise equipment, ski racks and a few other amenities for you to use.

Amenities for Kids: 2 highchairs, 1 pack-and-play crib, a stroller, tons of toys, books, board games, puzzles, kids game room with video games, movies, 5 pair of snow-shoes, miscellaneous sporting goods - tennis, pickle ball, basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, frisbees, yard games, etc.

Bookings Notes: No more than 10 adults allowed and max occupancy is 16 including children. No events, weddings, photo/video shoots. 10% discount for week or longer stays and 25% discount for month long stays. We include all the basics and keep the house well stocked. You are dealing directly with the homeowner when you message and book with us.

Summer Notes: Bike and Hike to trails right out your front door! A great summertime perk of this location is hiking access to Green Lake Trail right from the house. This is a beautiful 3 hour round-trip hike from the front door that ends at a beautiful lake at the base of Mount Axtell. If you would like to walk to downtown Crested Butte from the house, it takes 50 minutes and is an easy downhill walk on the Green Lake Trail. Our oversized driveway is a fun place for kids to ride their bikes/scooters, play basketball, etc. and we also have a grass backyard to play yard games.

Winter Notes: The ski-mountain base area is a +/-23 minute drive from the house in the winter time depending on snow conditions. It takes +/-13 minutes to drive to downtown in the snow and then another +/-10 minutes to get to the base area. In the wintertime you need to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to manage the snow/ice, but in the summertime a 2-wheel drive vehicle is perfect. In the wintertime our property managers handle all snow removal free of charge for our guests.
