Located west of downtown Hayesville, it's a pretty drive along Fires Creek Road to the recreation area where you'll find level parking, picnic tables and restrooms. So pack up a picnic, grab the kids and your fishing tackle and make a day of it-- right here in #ourlittlecornerofthemountains !

Family Farms in Appalachia
There are many things we don't have here in our little corner of the mountains-- Walmart, strip malls, highways and traffic lights-- but one of the things we do have is easy, local access to some of the finest, freshest fruits and vegetables imaginable. Late Spring is the season for fresh, locally grown strawberries.
