Fall days here in our little corner of the mountains don't get much better than what we're having lately-- chilly nights, cool mornings and warm, sunny days. And we haven't even reached the peak of leaf colors-- Fall's very own fashion show! Here's a great look at what we can expect here in the mountains of western North Carolina.
And here are some photos of what we enjoy during fall color season right here at Casa On the Creek. Both Blackwell Branch Cabin and Gili's Cove Cottage sit nestled in several acres of quiet woods on a dead-end road, with a view of the Tusquittee range right down the lane.

There are many things we don't have here in our little corner of the mountains-- Walmart, strip malls, highways and traffic lights-- but one of the things we do have is easy, local access to some of the finest, freshest fruits and vegetables imaginable. Late Spring is the season for fresh, locally grown strawberries. Early summer is when all the wonderful Farmer's Markets open and growers from the entire region gather to offer the bounty of their harvests.
