The Willet - Sandpiper that visits our Beach

Jekyll Sandpiper visitors will find artwork in our home that depicts our namesake; paintings and sculptures. A short walk to our beach, we like to call it Sandpiper Beach, will likely present our visitors with these live examples of birds from the Sandpiper family. The Willet feeds along the shore line often in groups, but sometimes singlely. This sandpiper has a brown appearance while feeding, but when it takes to the air its wings are stripped and it makes a cute pep pep pep sound.

Our rental agreement will act as a receipt for your payments. It is a requirement of Jekyll Island Authority that we have a short term rental agreement in place for your stay. We ask renters to abide by the agreement and our house rules.

A grilled meal seems to go with our image of the beach. Jekyll Sandpiper visitors will find both gas and charcoal grills available for their use. At our last stay we also added a patio area specially designed for those folks who will be grilling all the delicious foods.

Our group of 10 met for a fun filled weekend of football and beach combing. All 5 couples had a great time in this great house. With private rooms for each of us (and one to spare) we never felt crowded. The HUGE television made football watching perfect for our large group.
