Beech Mountain vacation rentals

When we first stumbled upon this condo, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. I cannot say enough good things about this house! The location was terrific just a short drive to Beech Ski Resort - a perfect home base for a weekend or for a longer ski season stay as we had. The house was very clean and so cozy - with cute local decor and comfy beds, extra pillows, and blankets. The kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. It is well-stocked with basic necessities already in place for you to use. Matthew is the perfect host - very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He provided us with all we needed. The booking and check-in/check-out process was super easy. There are instructions for the house and its amenities almost everywhere, left on the desk and also in the kitchen on the fridge and they are very informative. Everything is kept clean and organized. There were many things provided like shampoos, body wash, hand soap, hand sanitizers, first aid kit, 2 vacuums, an iron board even a hair flat iron. The kids enjoy the variety of board games while mom and dad just relax near the welcoming fireplace that heats up the living room in no time. An added bonus for our weekend trips was the access to the laundry to wash and dry clothes after being on the slopes all day. The parking lot area and the entrance stairs were kept snow and ice-free. However, If you are going when it actually snowing make sure you have 4 wheel drive or chains to exit to the main road which is just behind the condominium. The condo is very quiet and there were no noisy neighbors. I had many favorite parts of staying at Living the Dream on Beech, but the one that stole my heart was the view, and what a view! The place is very cozy and was great for our family of four. I would love to go back in every season just to see the beauty of that view.

We had a group of 16 (4 families with 8 adults / 8 children) and everyone slept comfortably throughout the 7 bedroom house. Nice large family room with plenty of space, large dining room table and an extra kitchen table for board games, plus ping pong or pool in the basement.....plenty of space to spread out and have fun! Hot tub on the large back porch with awesome views looking towards Sugar Mountain. Also very private location, but only a minute from downtown Beech Mountain and just a few more minutes to the resort. If you stay in the winter months, make sure you have 4WD or AWD as the driveway has two tight turns which are very tricky to navigate when snow covered. All in all, you won't find many other large homes in the area quite like this one, and the owner, Mr. Benoy, is very responsive!

Bill & Heather’s studio at Pinnacle Inn was the perfect getaway to Beech Mountain. I loved the French cottage chic decor and it was well stocked with anything you could need on your stay. It was the small personal touches that made it extra special, like stocked K-cups, dimmable bedside light, makeup mirror and a detailed welcome book. It was a short walk down to the Brick Oven Pizzeria and to catch the shuttle to the ski resort. Beech Mountain experienced a winter storm during my stay and Bill kept in constant contact to ensure I was safe and comfortable at their unit. This was one of the best stays I’ve had with AirBnB and can’t wait to book another trip with Bill & Heather ♥️

Our party of 10 stayed at Serenity Woods to celebrate the graduation of our Appalachian State student. Positives: There was ample room in the home for everyone to have a comfortable night's sleep. The home is spacious and accommodating with large bedrooms, yet feels cozy and comfortable at the same time. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked several meals while there. Oh and did I meantion TWO refrigerators? The hot tub is a nice touch as well as the fire pit. Smores were had by all! There are also many deer that roam the area. They are curious and do not seem fearful of humans. They are a treat to watch. The back porch is a wonderful addition and our family enjoyed sitting out there watching our corn hole competitions (We brought the boards with). We left a disc golf game for future guests. Cons: Though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay overall, there were just a few minor issues. Upon arrival, we found the dishwasher overflowing of dishes that appeared washed but had been left unloaded. Several of them were still dirty so I had to run the diswasher again. One of the plates never would come clean. There was a used towel and someone's clean sock left in the upstairs main bedroom. The oven would not turn on but we were able to resolve that issue. These minor issues were reported so I'm sure they will be addressed for future guests. All in all, this was a delightful stay and we would rent Serenity Woods again.

We had an incredible stay at Modern View Home — easily one of the best mountain rentals we’ve ever booked. The views alone are worth five stars: sweeping long‑range mountain scenery from sunrise to sunset, all visible right from the living room and deck. The home itself is beautifully designed and thoughtfully stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking full meals, which made staying in just as enjoyable as going out. Our kids loved the game room, and the adults had just as much fun — plenty of options for everyone to unwind and play. The sauna and hot tub were standout amenities. The host was fantastic — responsive, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in making sure guests have a seamless experience. We would absolutely recommend Modern View Home to anyone looking for a high‑end, comfortable, and fun mountain getaway. Already looking forward to our next stay.

Our stay at Laura's condo was wonderful. We went to Beech Mountain to ski. The town was adorable. The views from the condo were phenomenal. Everything was clean and the condo is in a fantastic location. Laura responded quickly to our questions and was so kind and helpful. If you are renting skiis, I would suggest not renting directly from Beech mountain, but instead renting from Fred's, Beech Meadows or The BBQ place. We had to wait for hours to get our prepaid rentals in the freezing temperatures. We were so happy to get back to the condo after that to sit by the fireplace and admire the Christmas tree.
