How to set no tax for long term reservations?
If you want to not charged taxes above certain nights, please follow below steps
Last updated August 24, 2026
Houfy lets you stop a tax from applying to long stays by capping the number of nights it covers.
Open Edit listing and go to Pricing.
Click the Tax section to expand it.
Click Add tax item.
Enter the Tax Name and the Tax Value, leaving the type on the percent sign.
Set Max Nights (optional) to 29 if you do not want the tax charged on stays of 30 nights or longer.
Click Add.
Max Nights only takes effect from 2 upwards. Leaving it empty, or setting it to 0 or 1, means no limit and the tax applies to every stay.
