Overview

Our Black Bear Lodge is back! This brand new 4 bed 3 bath cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests and is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the heart of Chalet Village, 25 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. Located 1.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 30 minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and 45 minutes from Knoxville Tennessee. We are delighted and humbled to be bringing back Our Black Bear Lodge in a totally new and different way.

The Space
This luxury cabin offers a modern rustic feel to guests and features amenities such as a hot tub, movie theater, retro arcade game and more! Located in Chalet Village, guests will also have access to the community amenities such as the pool, the tennis courts and more. Everything in this property was designed with you in mind!

The View
Our Black Bear Lodge offers a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountains that can be enjoyed from both the bottom floor and main floor decks all year round.

The Rooms
Every room has a theme. The Master Bedroom is an homage to the great outdoors. The Loft Bedrooms are fraternal twins donned in red and green plaids respectively. The basement room pays tribute to the great Dolly Parton in a tasteful and understated way.

Yes, Chalet Village, has 3 community pools and clubhouses. The pools are open from Memorial Day Weekend in May through Labor Day Weekend in September.

We're Carlos and Marisela Echenique and we're computer programmers from Miami, FL. We're parents to two adult children: a son and a daughter. We started getting into vacation rentals because we absolutely love the Tennessee area and wanted to make a little extra money as we head into retirement. We've spent lots of summers and winters vacationing the Smokies so we're really excited to have our own little corner of it to share with everyone!

We have a numeric pad that unlocks the door. The access code will be the last 4 digits of the phone number used in the reservation. To unlock: Press and hold the screen with 3 fingers to activate. Two numbers will appear. Click those 2 numbers in any order. Then, input your code and the door should unlock. To lock: Tap the screen with two or three fingers to activate and touch the lock icon in the lower right hand corner.

Our maximum occupancy is 8 guests, including children older than 2 years of age.

House Rules

This property has a maximum occupancy of 8 people (including children older than 2 year of age). You will be charged $165 per unannounced guest and/or can be removed from the property.

NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS! NO SMOKING and/or "vaping" ! No Exceptions! Minimum age of primary renter is 25. Maximum of 8 guests. No youth groups or sports teams.

This property has outside cameras for your safety and our peace of mind. Any tampering with the cameras will result in a charge of $500.

Payment Policy

If booking is less than 30 days prior to arrival date, full payment is required. Otherwise 50% deposit is required to book, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

Refundable Damage Deposit

Deposit to be refunded after housekeeping has completed her duties and no later than 5 days post checkout.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel 30 days before arrival date without penalties. If you need to cancel 15 days before arrival date 50% of total payment will be refunded. If you booked 30 days or less before your arrival you have 48 hours to cancel to get a full refund.
