Northshore Beach Estate with Salt Water pool & Hot Tub
We spent our second year vacationing at this home and had a great time. Everyone really enjoys the pool, hot tub and beach. The house is perfect for our multi-generational family (me, my husband, our grown children and grandchildren (ages 3 and 6). The house has everything you need and the location is great -- close to the town of Kingsville (great restaurants) and many great wineries. The grounds and the home are impeccable and The Dream Team is very accommodating and responsive. The spread of local fruits, vegetables and other products placed by the host is 1st class. P.S. The Dutch Boys Chocolate shop is a must stop -- very nice owners and the chocolate is to die for!
The Orchard House With Salt Water Pool
What a wonderful vacation we had at the Orchard House. The house was clean and spacious. The backyard with the saltwater pool, fire pit, outdoor games room and grassy area made for enjoyable and relaxing days. At night we gathered in the many areas inside the house to play games. All the bedrooms were spacious and the main bathroom was spa like. We would definitely recommend this house!
The Kingsville House with private salt water
The property was beautifully decorated, very nicely appointed and well-stocked. The location near the town is great and the town is very nice to go around. We would definitely go again. We rented it for the five rooms though the fifth room, which we did not use in the end was definitely not as nice as all the others so that would be something to be aware of in case it was a group going - also the owners left signs up that said that fifth room was out of bounds which made the arrival quite stressful- it would have a really easy to have removed those before we arrived. Getting details from the owners was also quite frustrating as they used links to external websites that the VRBO site blocks in the app - stopping this would be an easy fix - I did mention this a few times, it was a shame as the owners were very nice when we did get to speak to them. There was a problem with the bbq which they fixed quickly. They dealt with putting out the weekly garbage/recycling and had alight requirements for what to do on leaving which was definitely appreciated.
The Log House
Our recent stay was delightful. The blend of rustic charm and modern amenities exceeded expectations, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for our group of four. The fully equipped kitchen, tasteful interior design, and games room were particularly impressive. The property provided peaceful outdoor spaces, perfect for relaxation. However, we observed a minor concern with light pollution from nearby greenhouses affecting the night sky, which might be relevant for stargazing enthusiasts. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, ensuring a comfortable stay with thoughtful touches. Despite the minor light pollution, this charming cottage remains an excellent choice for a retreat. We'd gladly return for another visit.
Water's Edge Oasis with Salt Water Pool
Ultimate getaway from the city to just relax and spend some down time with loved ones. Best of both worlds with having the lake and the pool. One thing not mentioned in the ad is how nice and shallow the lake itself is. To the left of the steps it’s sandy with numerous sand bars allowing the kids to go out pretty far and still be safe. Kids had a blast playing in the waves. At night we swam in the lit up pool, had a fire, stargazed and played some board games. The entire ambience of this home is immaculate cozy comfort. Comfortable furniture, plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. Primary bedroom is gorgeous and we had a strong storm that was phenomenal to watch over the lake through the window. We enjoyed it so much here that we wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately it was booked. Recommend booking a couple extra days because you will not want to leave!
The Stone House Farm Stay
Nice large house. We did a lot of cooking and the ample kitchenware and utensils were convenient. Bathrooms were clean and bedrooms comfortable. The basement ceiling was a bit low but it was fine, but we managed it. Although we didn't use the game room downstairs, it was cool to have it. Finally, the mini horses and donkeys were definetly the best part.
