Welcome to Pine Creek Cottage—our family’s little slice of mountain heaven! We’re the Unruh family, and while our daily life is anchored in Arizona, our roots run deep in the Pacific Northwest. Hailing from the evergreen region means we carry a lifelong love for towering trees, crisp mountain air, and waking up early with a truly exceptional cup of coffee in hand. Whenever we get the chance, you’ll find us outside—exploring new trails, camping under the stars, and soaking up every bit of nature we can find. Of course, no family adventure would be complete without our marvelous pup, Mabel, who is always right by our side for every hike, road trip, and outdoor excursion. Over the years, we’ve stayed in our fair share of short-term rentals while traveling. Through all those experiences, we spent a lot of time dreaming about what we would do—and just as importantly, what we wouldn't do—if we ever hosted guests ourselves. When we found this cabin, we knew it was our chance to bring those dreams to life. Every corner of Pine Creek Cottage has been thoughtfully designed and curated with our guests in comfort and experience in mind.
