Just a few minutes down the road from the House of Flags Museum, is the Polk County History Museum in Columbus, NC. Admission is free. Displays and artifacts of the local area, date back as far as the 1800's. Staff is very friendly and informative. Check their website, as open days and hours are limited.

Operating Living Room TV Remote
Remote is in the bowl on the coffee table. Be sure everyone reads through this before turning on the tv. 1. Always aim the remote at the sensor to the left of the bookshelf when doing any function, including turning tv on and off. Just stand near the coffee table and it will work fine. No need to stand very close to the sensor.

What Should I Do When the Trash Is Full?
There are two bear proof trash cans at the end of your driveway. Feel free to use these during your stay if the kitchen trash compactor gets full. Otherwise, housekeeping will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave.
