Cedar Creek Riding Stables is an 18 minute drive to A Touch of Luxury Cabin in Lake Lure/Mill Spring. They offer pony rides, guided horse trail rides, gem mining, and free, catch and release fishing in their pond. There is no requirement to purchase a temporary fishing license when you fish in their pond. Bring a cooler, and you can pack a lunch to eat at their picnic tables. What Should I Do When the Trash Is Full?
There are two bear proof trash cans at the end of your driveway. Feel free to use these during your stay if the kitchen trash compactor gets full. Otherwise, housekeeping will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave.
