The Carl Sandburg Home is located in Flat Rock, NC.; This is across the street from the Flat Rock Playhouse, North Carolina's state theater. Flat Rock is extremely close to Hendersonville, NC. Hike five miles of trails, visit the onsite dairy goat barn, or take a guided tour of the estate. Operating Living Room TV Remote
Remote is in the bowl on the coffee table. Be sure everyone reads through this before turning on the tv. 1. Always aim the remote at the sensor to the left of the bookshelf when doing any function, including turning tv on and off. Just stand near the coffee table and it will work fine. No need to stand very close to the sensor.

What Should I Do When the Trash Is Full?
There are two bear proof trash cans at the end of your driveway. Feel free to use these during your stay if the kitchen trash compactor gets full. Otherwise, housekeeping will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave.
