New Braunfels Historic Railroad and Modelers Society- 302 W San Antonio St., New Braunfels,TX 78130 They have real train cars for you to explore, a steam powered locomotive, a caboose and a dining car. If you love old trains you will be in heaven here. 20 min car ride (7.9 miles)
Freiheit Country Store- They are famous for good old fashioned comfort food like hamburger, fries, chicken fried steak and home made pies. Definitely a good place to dine. Open since 1889.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum- The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, is one of the world's largest museums and research centers dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of American vernacular music. Chartered in 1964, the museum has amassed one of the world's most extensive musical collections. Margot Café & Bar- Housed in a 1930s-era Five Points filling station, the Margot Café serves a rustic Franco-Italian weekday dinner and a Sunday brunch menu in a warm casual atmosphere. Rudy & Paco Restaurant and Bar- This Upscale Galveston steakhouse features grilled meats and seafood with plenty of South and Central American influence. Ceviche, plantain-crusted chicken, and a selection of steaks offer a swanky dinner option that is also totally delicious. Pro tip: if you’re headed to Rudy & Paco for dinner, wear pants — shorts are only allowed during lunch and at the bar.
