Santa Monica vacation rentals

I had a wonderful experience staying at this venice beach cottage. Suzan was a extremely good communicator and very friendly. She answered all messages promptly, gave a tour of the place upon arrival, and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. The cottage itself looks better than the pictures (which already look great). The best part of the cottage is how light and inviting it looks. I really enjoyed the color schemes and all the skylights. The shower looks awesome during the day with the light coming through and the white tiles with green accent tiling. All essentials were provided (towels, toiletries, etc.) and even though I didn't use the kitchen much, it was very well stocked. The heater worked very well and the bed/couch were clean and comfortable. Another huge plus about this stay are the bikes! They're in great shape and Venice beach and the shops on Abbot Kinney are only a 10 minute bike ride away. If the weather is good, I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this - it's enjoyable, fast and fun, and much easier than dealing with parking near the beach. Speaking of parking, there was ample free street parking at all times of the day. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe and in a great location. Overall, everything was very clean, comfortable, safe and the host is very hospitable and a delight. This is definitely one of my favorite, if not my favorite Airbnb I have stayed at and I will return again if in the area. Thank you Suzan!

Dylan is one of the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Super responsive, helpful, considerate, resourceful, and communicative. Wish more hosts could be like him. The location of the house was perfect for my family. Our 1.5 yr old son and dog loved being near the playground and golf course. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable, which we loved. Short walk to Love Coffee shop on Ocean and a big of a walk to most of the places on Lincoln we wanted to try but parking was never an issue. Easy drive to Santa Monica pier, the beach, Venice Beach, Abbot Kinney, etc. The house and backyard were both spacious and gave us everything we needed to be comfortable and have a fun, relaxing and fantastic experience. My son loved seeing and hearing the planes from Santa Monica airport fly overhead - but when inside the house you could hear them. Even being in the yard the planes weren’t that loud. The kitchen had all the utensils, dishes, silverware, and pots/pans we needed and the dining and living room were very comfortable. The house was also very airy and light. We felt like we had enough privacy without losing any light. Checking in and out was super easy. Overall, it was very comfortable, relaxing and wonderful experience for my family. We appreciated how accommodating and responsive Dylan was. He got back to us right away and even dropped off new pans because he knew how much we liked to cook and wanted to make sure we had enough pans to use!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Sonyas Backstudio in Venice for 11days. It was my second time in Venice and the Studio was just 2 streets away from the Airbnb I stayed the year before. For my boyfriend it was shocking that so many homeless people are on the street and the first night he didn’t feel good about it but I told him he don’t have to worry. After walking through the neighborhood he realized it is a pretty good area and there is nothing to worry about. To be honest it can be scary hearing helicopters flying pretty low in the middle of the night and seeing their light shining into the Studio. But the Backstudio is 100% safe! It is a little house and perfect for 2 people. U got everything u need! Just be aware that u just got a little oven and microwave - so no big cooking! But Ubereats is perfect to get late night food. U can get everywhere with the app „Lyft“ what is way cheaper than Uber! To go to Santa Monica it costs u about 6$ and to go to Hollywood it is more expensive - 40$. But for 2 people totally fine. There is a shop right around the corner to get your laundry done. Ralphs across the street is perfect to get water and snacks. There are so many cool places around the Backstudio and for people who like chilled holidays but still want to have fun it is awesome. We can definitely not say any bad thing. The next time we will 110% book again the Backstudio of Sonya. 🥰

We had a great stay and the house is beautiful, newly renovated and very clean. The owner has put a lot of thought and care into the details and it has everything that you would need. The owner offers to arrange extra services to provide a five star stay so I was able to send a grocery list a few days prior and the kitchen was stocked for our arrival. The location is great, no parking issues and the Venice Canals feels like a real retreat right in the heart of Venice. The extra security the home has also put us at ease, we had no issues and felt completely safe which was very important to us as we were traveling with our young children. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at the Venice Beach condo was amazing! The location could not be better you literally walk out and you’re on the beach in seconds. The unit was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. We loved being able to stroll to restaurants, the boardwalk, and Abbot Kinney. Check-in was smooth, communication with the host was quick and helpful, and having parking this close to the ocean was a huge bonus. We’ll definitely be back!
